Another fun doubleheader weekend was had last weekend. Now that I’ve recovered on sleep, I wanted to share my Friday Night with you: the Ozark Firefighters Association Ladies Night, honoring the wives of firefighters for putting up with their husbands that serve in many different volunteer agencies around southeast Missouri!

We played Musical Bingo and I had a lot of fun providing music and colorful lighting at the beautiful Robinson Event Center in Perryville Missouri. :)

The Doubleheader last weekend finished up with a beautiful Wedding Reception for some great friends of mine (Congratulations Tim and Kristy!) at Port Cape Girardeau. I controlled everything from the back of the room and used an all active speaker system: my new Alto Professional TX310 speakers and my new QSC KS112 subwoofers. I was told they could hear us in the restaurant below!

I love what my company can do. Providing not only DJ Services, but sound and lighting production for great events like these!

Facebook has reminded me that it’s been 15 years since I DJ’ed my first Wedding Reception. 🙂 And let me tell you, it was one for the record books because I drove over 400 miles for this gig for some friends of mine!

Jackson High School Homecoming - September 21st, 2024. 979 attendees. It was a show! 🙂 I had a great time dancing it up in Jackson Missouri.

And boy did we have an epic “Church Clap” dance. I got to dance on the front row with some amazing dancers!

So, last Saturday’s gig was a first for many reasons. I got to play a Wedding under a tent! This worked out great because I had some great options for my lights to really shine. 🙂

And, what makes me even more happy, this was all powered by my new generator that I purchased for things such as this!! Worked out great. 🙂

I’ll be back out again mixing this Sunday in downtown Cape at the River City Rodders Car Show!

What great times were had on the last day of August, celebrating the wedding of Jessica and Bob at the Bavarian Halle! What a fun couple that boogied until the last song and did not want to quit. We could have kept going all night long!

What a joy it was to be at Sweet Pecan Farms this past weekend, celebrating the wedding of Emily and Brianna Skorcz! There was a lot of energy in the room and some amazing food from Krabby Daddy's Cape Girardeau, Rock N Roll Sushi - Cape Girardeau, MO, and Chick-fil-A Cape Girardeau🙂.

It was great to celebrate with you all!

As the 2024 school year begins, I was at Southeast Missouri State University last night for the University’s Move-In Bash! This event was moved inside due to weather, but we made the most of it. There are some amazing dancers in this Freshman Class and we also had an epic Hula-Hooping contest! 🙂

Tonight, I’m at the Potosi Lions Club, celebrating the wedding of Gary Fryman and Jennifer Saunders! It’s going to be a great night. I’m especially thankful for the great load-in accommodations. Look how close I am to my truck!

And, we got the Margarita Man of Missouri here tonight, so it’s gonna be a great night!

For the 3rd year in a row, I was honored to be the Lighting Designer for the annual SEMOBall Awards show, hosted at La Croix Church, my church!

Top high school athletes were recognized and retired St. Louis Cardinals Outfielder, Brian Jordan, was the keynote speaker for this evening. It was a first class event, put on by the wonderful people with the Southeast Missourian, semoball.com, and rustmedia!

Let’s have a Photo Story for my biggest gig of the year this past Saturday night! Once again, a huge shoutout to the 600 attendees of the Dancing With Show Me Stars 2024 event hosted by Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri at the Show Me Center. Lots of money was raised to support this organization, and there was even a Live Auction, which ran so smoothly, thanks to the great people with Raising Paddles LLC.
