Have you noticed daylight hours are getting longer - over 10 hours this month!
Increasing light means another growing season will be upon us and, this year, I’m making a concerted effort to grow my own vegetables to eat and preserve.
Food is expensive and prices keep going up. Growing your own vegetables gives control back to you and is so much healthier and tastier!
If you want to try your hand at growing this year, I invite you to grow along with me. This will be informal but I will let you know in advance what I’ll be sowing and post when and how I do it along with planting, care, and harvesting.
You don’t need a big yard (or even a yard). As long as you have a sunny spot, a small plot or pots with potting soil.
My first sowing will be the week of February 17 - plenty of time for you to get your materials.
