I don't have a storefront✨️ I've converted my garage into a flower shop, and I couldn't see having my business anywhere but on our beautiful & peaceful acreage out in the country of So. IL❤️ Most of my couples aren't local to my area to come in to a shop, so I do a lot of phone meetings and it is just as efficient for myself and my clients (if not more) as meeting in person. If we do meet in person before your event, it is likely at a local coffee shop or at your venue for a walkthrough. I don't take small orders✨️ I specialize in weddings and events, and the way I've structured my business, it doesn't make sense for me to take on orders less than $1500. I don't have a phone number available to the public✨️ The best way to communicate with me is through email. This keeps me organized to have a visual of all the conversations I've had with current and prospective clients and gives me more details to look back on when planning and designing. It's the quickest & most thorough way for me to get back to everyone. I do reserve my phone number for those who have already booked me for their event in case they ever need to call or text! I don't charge per stem✨️ I charge per arrangement/installation. This plays hand in hand with my minimum order requirement. I know the scale and amount of arrangements I can create within my minimum, and this gives me more freedom to design based on visual needs rather than individual stem cost. I don't gatekeep✨️ Whatever knowledge I have came from so many florists before me who were willing to freely share and educate. Any tips and tricks I can pass along to other florists, event planners or new businesses, I count as a win! I was absolutely thrilled when this momma-to-be asked me to 'work my magic' to design and decorate her baby shower at Historic Bell Hill Wedding Venue, so naturally, we did the most!✨️ From furniture and table layouts to place settings, large-scale floral pieces, and every little detail in between, we had the absolute best time creating an atmosphere for Amanda & Thad to be surrounded and celebrated by their loved ones before bringing their sweet baby boy into this world🥰 I'm so incredibly grateful for clients that come to us with complete trust to design and take care of their entire day-- it is a creative's dream come true. Oh, sweet peas.... I love them and I hate them (while secretly still loving them and wishing the circumstances were different). Here's why I love them👇: A) They're magical. They're floaty, they make everything instantly gorgeous😍 B) Their petals are delicate and catch light in a whole different way than any other line flower. C) They can hold meaning to a lot of people.❤️ ....BUT.. ⚠️⚠️Heres why they aren't the best fit sometimes👇: ●They are extremely short-lived, which means their use has to be timed perfectly & even then, sometimes they don't make it. It can be quite risky. ●They are so delicate that they don't hold up for the average abuse a bridal bouquet takes in one day. (We have ways of making this work better, but brides have to commit to being more cautious with their bouquets if they want them to last, especially if they want to preserve their bouquet.) ●They can be inconsistent. Sometimes you can lose about half of them by the time they get to you. There are a lot of improvements going on in the floral world right now for this, but chewy, floppy, and shattered blooms can still happen. ●They are quite pricey for something that isn't super reliable. ... So brides, if you LOVE the look of sweet peas, don't let this scare you! If you know you absolutely want sweet peas, here's my recommendation on what to do...👇 ●Only use them in your bridal bouquet and on table arrangements in a temperature controlled environment. 👉Bud vases are the way to go, in my opinion, to get the most bang for your buck on sweet peas. Let them stand out and be their magical selves! ●And lastly, ALWAYS communicate what is most important to you to your florist!
