One way to make your table scape memorable is to use unique blossoms and accessories. The moody anthuriums partnered with several fritillaria variations really provide structure for this table scape. We added layers upon layers of pattern, shape, and texture with our accessories to create an experience at the table. The finishing touches with the chairs really pull the look and feeling together.

If only I didn’t choose to wear those super comfy blue and orange Hokas! 🤪 You know flowering is such a glamorous lifestyle!! This may come as a complete surprise but usually the behind the scenes isn’t as pretty as our finished product. One this particular day, Maddi and I were so exhausted at the end of our flowering day but offered to capture a few mother daughter moments and although I knew we were both completely physically exhausted, and honestly looking not too fresh, I couldn’t refuse the opportunity the generous offer to be photographed by such a talent. I also knew that Maddi couldn’t refuse Cavin, so I jumped at the opportunity.

It’s raining flowers over here. Our sunny San Diego skies has been blowing a bit of winter weather our way and I can’t help but remember how many March weddings we’ve been challenged by the surprise of rain. Off the top of my head I immediately think of two weddings, family friends of ours who had sunshiny, even “drought” conditions the days leading up to the wedding and then the day before or “morning of” found ourselves scrambling for shelter from a chilly, wet skies. A little advice my dear friends. If you are planning a March wedding in San Diego, regardless of our typically mild March weather, always have a rain plan in your back pocket. Rain on your wedding day is said to be good luck, and I happen to believe that to be true.
Be prepared for the rainbow that follows too!!

We always suggest that our couples utilize as many of the floral designs as possible from the ceremony decor in a way that can be repurposed in the reception area. One of our favorite venues is a great example of a venue with stunning views with a space which allows us to easily repurpose the ceremony florals for the sweetheart table during the dinner party. Guests dine under the star and enjoy forever views al evening long.

Hello industry friends. We are looking for an office roommate for our north county coastal office in downtown Carlsbad Village on State Street. We use our studio office space to meet with couples and planners a few times a month. We work in a warehouse so this office is always tidy and ready for meetings. We are looking for an industry professional to partner with us to co share our space. We keep a google calendar to reserve time in the office space, and leave it clean and ready for the next person.

I find it so curious that sometimes when I’m struggling the most to commit to a color palette, the obvious choice just happens to be have been sitting on my desk beside my laptop for two days. I find that inspiration comes to me in the most random ways, whether it’s a dream, textiles, fashion, or the fruit bowl.

Today we took a boat to the island of Patmos, Greece, where we went to the monastery of St. John the theologian and then to the cave of the apocalypse. Mike and I had a nice lunch at a small restaurant along the marina area.

In an extraordinary bit of serendipity, my innate love of flowers genuinely ignited a firestorm of passion, and that led me to the creation of Studio Fleurish. My work has been organically cultivated by the many diverse sources of influence that our unique Southern California environment offers. I find endless inspiration in the vast openness of the Pacific Ocean, the copper-hued coastal bluffs, and even poppies growing wild alongside the road. I am equally enamored with all things “love” and I cannot imagine working any other endeavor. I love weddings for what they represent, the union of two souls and two hearts becoming one. Nothing is more exciting for me than being a part of making a couple’s vision come to life, and it is always with honor that I accept this opportunity.
