sometimes showing is easier than explaining with dry aging fish. we have two aging rooms one for meat and one for fish.

three cornered leeks are back and starting to sprout up all around Monterey Bay.

this invasive plant is competitive enough to make it through the long grass we have from all the rain this year has gifted us 🌧️

the plant’s light garlicky flavor has many calling this herb wild garlic. It’s the perfect ingredient for the base of our pesto on the abalone risotto.

the beautiful bell flowers help identify this wild herb. they are also edible. do you see these in your neighborhood?
