Seth and TJ’s wedding was one for the books! Dubbed the ‘nerdy wedding’, they completely embraced all things Science for their wedding!! Complete with us hanging the entire solar system over the center of the room! On another note not related at all, I have the complete solar system for anyone who’d need it for their special event!! 😉🤣

To our fearless leader, my wife, my best friend, the hardest working person I know. To say I’m proud of you is an understatement. You’ve worked so hard to get us where we are and you’ve done it all with a smile on your face. You answer thousands of phone calls and emails from 5am to midnight, whether laying in bed or while working from the top of a 23’ ladder… you do it all! Your patience is unmatched. From me and our son to the clients and fellow vendors, you remain positive and do anything you can to make others happy. And through it all, you find time to have fun and be an amazing wife, mom, and boss! No matter how tired or stressed you are, you always finds ways to make the job (and life) more fun and less stressful.
I can’t imagine this life without you. I’m so proud of you. I love you.

Day five of EF employee appreciation!

My bonus nephew, My Dylan.
TJ’s best friend, Dylan is the missing link EF needed! He’s the strongest person I know, both physically and mentally, yet is still so funny and kind and sweet and loving. We spent a lot of time together this summer and had many deep conversations about life and loss. I connected with him on a spiritual level and truly believe he is right where he belongs with our family.

It was a sad day when he left for college at Slippery Rock, but he calls to see if we need him every time he comes home; he’s got a great work ethic and never complains (about anything!).

Watching Dylan and TJ work together is one of my favorite joys. Those two together will talk about anything and find any excuse to laugh and make me laugh. They make every job so much more fun!

Dylan: You are an amazing person! Your strength is inspiring and your heart is pure gold. I’m honored to know you and am so deeply proud of you! I love you, bubs!

Day four of EF employee appreciation!

Abraham’s brother, My Aaron! Aaron has been working with us for a few years, tagging alongside Abraham, but officially became part of our team this year! He’s been such an amazing addition! He works so hard and is SO easy going, kind, and funny! And shares his brother’s great laugh! :) Aaron is quiet and reserved… at first. Haha! Once you get to know him, his personality shines through and it’s a GREAT one!

Aaron is definitely a ‘jack of all trades’! His full time job is in HVAC, but he’s been renovating houses with his dad his whole life! If it needs fixed, Aaron can fix it!
Aaron is just as fearless on a ladder as I am so he’s the reason I totally understand my teams anxiety when I’m up on it… cuz I feel the same thing when he’s up there! 😅

This year, Aaron became an Eagle Scout, too! Such a huge accomplishment!

Aaron: I am so so proud to have you with us! You’ve been an absolute joy to get to know better and I look forward to this coming season with you!! Love you, bud!

Day three of EF employee appreciation!

My nephew, My TJ. For 18 years, he’s held a special spot in my heart. He is one of those rare humans that sees the bright side to everything and can quickly bring laughter to a stressful situation. His ability to read people is extraordinary and he’s quick to give compliments. To know him, is to love him. I sincerely can’t say enough good things… he is an amazing human and I am so beyond proud of him!

TJ worked his butt off this year! He learned everything SO fast and quickly became a force to be reckoned with. Mike and I would argue about which of us would get him on our teams that weekend. Haha!
While also working with us, TJ also goes to school full time, majoring in Cyber Security and is building quite the following on Twitch! There’s very little he can’t do :)

TJ: Uncle and I love you more than life and we cherish all this time we get to spend together! You make every day a good one. Thank you for everything you do and for giving us the privilege of your presence! I love you, bubba!

Day two of EF employee appreciation!
If you’ve seen me behind the scenes in the last five years, then you’ve seen My Abraham! He’s been my sidekick since his first day and I’ve loved every second of it!

Abraham was my very first hire! His mom and I formed a close bond while working together as nurses at St. Clair Hospital. She could see how overworked I was working both jobs, so she offered up her son to help me as he was looking for a summer job before heading off to med school. Literally the best decision ever made!
Abraham is the kindest, most thoughtful, caring, genuine, and loyal person I’ve ever met! He is just as big a part of EF as Mike and I are!

I’ve called him last minute a few times (lol) throughout the years and he’s dropped everything to come help/rescue me when I didn’t think I could finish a set up on time. His work ethic is better than mine. Haha! But no matter how stressed we may get, there’s no shortage of laughter between us!
And let me tell you… he has the BEST laugh! We literally hold full text conversations in just memes 🤣

Spending so much time with him, he quickly became my ‘weekend son’. He truly is family. Watching him work so hard for his dreams just swells me up with pride! He’s going to save so many lives, in so many different ways! (So long as he knows that I’m never letting him quit 🤣)

Abraham: Thank you for being… you! I hit the jackpot with you! I love you!

Gonna start this 2023 with appreciation posts for my amazing employees! Starting with the most important one. My life partner, my business partner, my Mike.

This year we celebrate 20 years of marriage and 9 years as small business owners! EF wouldn’t be what it is without Mike. He fully supported my crazy idea in starting this business and jumped in without hesitation to help ensure it’s healthy growth and development. He gave his all, right along with, and beside, me.

People often ask us how we’re able to work together. We always (half) jokingly reply, ‘not well’. 🤣 How are we able to spend every waking moment together?
We truly are best friends. We talk all day long, about anything and everything and genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Plus, in 2022, we took separate teams so that helped a lot too 🤣

To the other half of EF: Mike, I love you to the moon and I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else. You are my rock. My light in the darkness. 🥰

When a wedding vendor plans a wedding, they go ALL OUT! Ron from perfectly designed his niece’s wedding last weekend and it was STUNNING! Battery taper candles with silver candlesticks, ivory drape backdrops, chandeliers over the head table, large chandeliers and greenery with twinkle lights over the dance floor and a beautiful palm pattern displayed around the room! Can not wait to see the pro photos!!! #

With so many venues going ‘no flame’ (safety first!), we’ve invested in hundreds (and hundreds and hundreds) of battery operated candles that actually photograph like real candles! The tapers are a great option to avoid having to use the tall cylinders around them as well 😉
