What an exciting day! Today is National Two-Spirit Day, a day of Awareness and Celebration for our Two-Spirit and Indigenous LGBTQQIA+ relatives across the globe. This is a time to honour and remember the medicine, the love and the commitment our communities have offered the world.

Although this day has not been proclaimed by our Eastern provinces yet, we are going to continue to advocate for this day to be honoured and made official for the next year.

We are sending our love to all of the gatherings, events and times of celebration today as we can see so many exciting activities planned. It’s a gift to be able to witness/experience Two-Spirit joy, thank you for sharing it with us all.

This day is recognized by the Two-Spirit community, and was developed by our friends at CBRC's Two Spirit Dry Lab. We thank you for your work, dedication and natural leadership 🤍

Mark your calendar for Dec 1st at the Ickey Nickle! Its gonna be a night of crazy fun including a dinner buffet, Sexy Santa Trivia and a drag show unlike any other. We are gonna take straight guys who have never done drag and throw them into heels and hair and toss them into spotlight! We will be doing raffles and fun stuff all night long as part of the World AIDS Day awareness. Come join us as we raise funds for SUX Pride Education, Health and Wellness Committee.

We will be starting to plan West Central Iowa Pride 2025 soon. Due to this being a totally 100% Privately Funded Event we were unable to come up with the cash to pay for the Drag Performers this year. but we have a plan to come up with the funding and will start extra early with this years planning. We will be looking for volunteers to help plan the 2024 event and other fundraising so if that's something you are interested in than please contact the page, or one of the admins i.e. Nicholas McDaniel-Vest or Monica Smith.

Since we couldn't get the funding for pride 23 together in time we are going to get a few games and fundraisers going. We have one idea but if you have anymore comment down below. More info on the game coming soon.
