Market Day from our home today!!! We have sweet corn, green beans, Candy onions, new potatoes, jalapeño peppers and a few pints of mixed cherry tomatoes. Blueberry muffins, some mini sweet breads and fruit preserves. Send me a message and I’ll put your order together. Note: due to the weather forecast and holiday, we will NOT be set up on the square this week.

I’m changing things up a little this week and tomorrow’s market day in Carrollton @8 a.m. will be a bake sale featuring blueberry and Dutch apple pies, German Choc cake, Neapolitan cakes, angel food cakes, iced lemon pound cake loafs, poppyseed, banana and pumpkin mini sweet breads, Peanut Blossom and S’Mores cookies and assorted fruit preserves! There is more rain in the forecast to add to the 2.6” we already received so the gardens may stay muddy for some time. Regardless, I will figure out how to harvest the beautiful sweet corn and green beans that will be ready in a few more days!!! Stay tuned to my page because I’ll either do a pop up market day or have on-farm pickup before the holiday next week.

Our trailer will be on the west side of the Carrollton square tomorrow @ 8 am. We have a small amount of green beans, as well as new potatoes, onions, garlic, gooseberry and blackberry pies, angel food cakes, chocolate and almond sheet cakes, several different sweet breads and a variety of fruit preserves this week. Hope to see you there! Lastly, thanks to everyone who placed orders throughout the week. It gives me something purposeful to do when the heat is too hot to work outside!
