Floral Friday! Meet the spray rose! A type of miniature rose with multiple small blooms on a single stem, giving them a fuller look than traditional roses. They are also known as mini roses and can have 3–10 flowers per stem, with buds in different stages of development, size, and opening. Spray roses come in a wide range of colors, including red, pink, orange, yellow, white, peach, and lavender. We love to use these in many designs including wedding, prom and everyday designs.

Floral Friday: Meet the Peony! Sooo..Is it pee-o-nee or pee-a-nee? 🤔🤷🏽‍♀️ however you say it, this fragrant beauty is definitely a popular one! The Spring time bloomer is a highly sought after flower for weddings all year long 🙃 Unfortunately with its high price tag we don’t use her nearly as much as she deserves but have been working on that 🧐 is she a favorite of yours? Floral Friday: Meet Tweedia! One of the few naturally blue flowers we use… it also comes in white! We mainly use this in wedding designs but have occasionally used this in everyday designs as well! We strive to create unique designs that aren’t seen everyday or found at a grocery store! What do you think about Tweedia?

Floral Friday: Meet Globe Thistle aka Echinops. These spikey guys come in purple, blue and white and are the perfect pop of texture. We’ve used blue thistle in quite a few in both wedding and everyday designs but I’ve been on the hunt for the globe variety for quite some time. The best part? These were locally grown 💕

Floral Friday: Meet the Protea! Get ready to be enchanted by this unique floral wonder! A vibrant and striking botanical marvel named after the shape-shifting Greek god Proteus. With its diverse forms and bold colors, this South African native symbolizes transformation and courage. Even though Protea flowers are more of a Mediterranean-grown flower than a tropical, Hawaiian growers have done the best job marketing them, so much so, that much of the floral industry in the United States believes Protea is a tropical flower that originated in Hawaii! We use this beauty only on occasion, usually weddings but it always reminds me of my first job working in a flower shop. The head designer was from Hawaii and loved to use them 🌺💕

Floral Friday: Meet Gladiolus! Standing tall, these lovelies come in a wide variety of colors and have a rap of being a funeral flower. Now, I must admit it’s not a staple in our cooler but I have used it from time to time and I’m always stocked at how beautiful it is in the arrangement 🤌🏽 It adds the perfect amount of height to any arrangement with a beautiful bright flower. 🌺

Floral Friday: Meet the Sunflower! This baby is a popular one, highly favored and requested whether it’s a wedding or an everyday arrangement. Did you know they come in different sizes and colors? From cream to gold, yellow, orange, red, mahogany and chocolate brown, there’s even a pink variety! This petite size and common color shown is what we use in most of our designs. I must admit it was not a favorite of mine but has definitely grown on me over time💛. Are you a fan of sunflowers? 🌻

Floral Friday: Meet Scabiosa! These beauties look very unique and come in a variety of colors (I’m showing 5, look closely!) I love using these for texture and color I think they are an overlooked option sometimes but we definitely love them any time we have the opportunity to use them! 💕
