It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Stephen “Coach Mack” Mackintosh, co-owner of Group Dynamix and a man loved by his employees.

He was considered the heart and soul of our company because of how well he cared for others. Relationships were his cornerstone, and he sought to build them with every person he encountered.

When he suffered a tragic bicycling accident in 2012 that left him paralyzed, he never let that define him. Instead, he found renewed purpose in helping other quadriplegics and inspiring countless others by his boundless energy and positive mindset.

Leading a team building company was a dream come true for him because he thrived on working with groups of people and helping them connect meaningfully. He loved seeing groups transform into real teams, and he created many of our methods and activities that enabled that outcome.

It is hard to imagine GDX without Mack, but his wonderful legacy will remain. The impact he has had on our GDX family, our customers, our vendors and our friends inside and outside of our industry is truly remarkable. He lived life large, and we are all better because of his time with us.

We love you Coach Mack. We’re sure that God has bigger plans for you.
