We’re just a little over three months away from the 3rd Annual Maple Leaf Shootout Truck & Tractor Pull, happening right here in Carthage, MO! As we gear up for another exciting year, we’re thrilled to bring you an even bigger and better event on October 18th.

Each year, the Maple Leaf Shootout selects a local cancer patient to honor—someone who has shown immense courage and strength in the face of this difficult battle.

This year, we’re proud to support Jimmie McAlister.

Jimmie is currently fighting Bladder Cancer, and doing so with grit, determination, and the kind of spirit that inspires everyone around him. If you’ve met Jimmie, you know he’s the kind of guy who’s always smiling—and always willing to give you the shirt off his back.

He and his son Jordan are both part of the local pulling community with ties to SMTTPA, SRVPA, and WW Promotions.

In honor of Jimmie’s fight, the McAlister family has chosen a powerful motto:
“Faith, Fuel, & Full Pulls for Jimmie!”

We hope you’ll make plans to join us on October 18th for a night of horsepower, community, and heart as we rally behind the McAlister family in their ongoing battle. Your presence makes a difference.

Maple Leaf Shootout is looking for a Taco Truck for October 18th, 2025. Must be able to be on site and setup by 2:00pm and have the compacity to serve larges crowds at a fast pace. Must also have its own power and water on board as that is not provided.

If anyone knows of a taco truck please send them our way.

Thank you everyone who came out last night and supported Pray For Clay and his fight against cancer! To our pullers! Thank you for coming down t9 Carthage and pulling with us. We hope everyone enjoyed the pull and the vendors that were brought in this year to better your experience.
