The most beautiful thing about flowers is that each and every bloom is unique (just like us)!

It can be appealing to look at a flower arrangement and want that same exact thing. But there is no way to achieve that because no two flowers are the same. They may be the same variety and come from the same bunch but they will all be different.

Let your florist be creative and design something unique to you.

Did you know?! Tulips mean “I declare my love to you”.

Isn’t that what Valentine’s Day is all about, declaring your love for your people. I highly suggest you preorder your loved one’s local flowers which will indeed include lots of tulips! (Move aside commercialized, imported roses!)

Again this year I will be focusing on ALL local stems for Valentine’s Day.

Being a florist, always surrounded by blooms can sometimes dim the joy that flowers should bring. I promised myself I would always work to keep the joy I felt when I first fell in love with flowers.

The last Christmas arrangement will always be created for my enjoyment. Sometimes finding the joy in the season is doing something for yourself.

If you are needing last minute gift ideas (for yourself or someone else), flowers anytime of year is a good idea. Give the gift of flowers!

Hello flower friends! Thank you all for being here and your continued support. I appreciate every one of you! Even though social media is so important for small businesses I have decided to take the next few weeks away from it. If you have been here awhile you know my flower journey began after losing my mom from a rare disease called Multiple System Atrophy. The 16th of October will be 7 years since we lost her. 💔 On the 17th it is my 37th birthday 🎂 and my 9th wedding anniversary 👰🏻‍♀️ so it’s the perfect time for me to step away for a little while. I promise to be back with lots of flowers and share a little of what I do in my off time. Please don’t leave or unengage because I need you all to keep my small business bloomin’. Passionflower (Passiflora) has been used to represent Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). This week I was able to get a bunch from @piedmontwholesaleflowers grown by @clearblackflowers 💜 My mom was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy in 2009 and it took her in 2017. Real Talk Tuesday!! 🐝 First off I missed featured flower Monday. It will be back next week 🙃 (hopefully). Piggybacking on last week’s RTT. I got the question again about roses this week. This time in particular yellow roses. I always answer with I support local NC flower farmers which means I use only in season flowers. I did see a few bunches of roses on @piedmontwholesaleflowers online market for this week. So I told the customer I would check when I went to pickup and shop the market today. The first thing on the flower bar that caught my eye was yellow roses! 🌹 Yellow any flower has a deep feeling to me. It was my mom’s favorite color 💛. Every yellow flower reminds of her. The customer was ordering flowers for her daughter. While we were talking she mentioned my mom and my story. She said she knew I would understand the Mother/ Daughter connection. 🥹 Well long story short I got the sense my mom had a hand in those yellow roses at the market.
