Come find us painting at the Run for Malawi festival this Sunday!

It's time for our 5th annual Run For Malawi!!
This year it is a 5K, and can be run, walked, or crawled. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to support ongoing work with malnourished children, provide essential lab services to hospitalized children, and for scholarships for dozens of Malawians, including the full support of two pediatricians-in-training.
There will be a children's run, and a festival afterwards on the Southern Village Green with food and beer.

Did you know the glitter we use is NOT from the craft store? The shape of craft store glitter helps it shine, but also contains sharp corners that are abrasive on the skin and cause serious damage if they get in your eyes. They're also made from dyes that aren't necessarily safe for the skin. Cosmetic-grade glitter, on the other hand, is FDA-compliant for use on the skin because it contains skin-safe dyes and is cut into shapes that don't have sharp edges.

Face Painter- No Experience Required!
We're looking to hire more face painters to join our team. We paint at major festivals and smaller events in the Raleigh area and beyond. Because much of our work is seasonal, you will not be scheduled for regular shifts. Instead, you'll be offered a shift and take it if you're available. We provide all the materials, you just need to show up and have a great time.

Requirements
• No experience required, but some artistic ability will make training go much more quickly so you can get to the fun part.
• Good with kids. That includes being a safe person, so you'll need to pass a background check.
• Dedication to hygiene. Our clients hire us because we deliver safe, clean fun. During training you'll learn about our sanitation measures; you will be expected to follow them.
• Boundaries. We have fun at work, but we are not "A Family." We are also not a "Work Hard, Play Hard" company. Come, work hard, make money, then go home. Take care of you. You're no fun when you're burnt out.
• Obscure trivia knowledge & experience with puns are a plus, but not a requirement.

How does payment work?
• We pay $10/hr during training. You are considered fully trained when you can paint 5 different designs, taking less than 5 minutes per design. The designs are not complicated- go to our website to see a few examples if you'd like.
• Once you are fully trained, you earn a minimum of $25/hr + tips. Your wage goes up if paint quickly and if you add more designs to your repertoire.
