Looking for a well rounded individual for an event consultant position at a wedding and event rental company. We specialize in tents, tables, chairs, and other rental items. We are wanting to hire someone pretty immediately.
The job responsibilities would be to answer phone calls and emails, use good judgement while assessing the needs of the customers based on their event type and size, schedule deliveries and communicate with other vendors involved in the event (venue, planner, etc), and also do light accounts receivable work.
The ideal candidate would work well under pressure, is eager to learn, responsible and positive, enjoys their job and is passionate in what they do, has great communication skills, and can go with the flow. Background experience in this field is not required but is helpful, we will train the right person. We are a small, locally owned business with a very tight knit group of coworkers and are looking for the right person to join our team.
2020 has been a crazy year and we have definitely felt the negative effects, but we feel incredibly fortunate to have continued to stay afloat. A lot of it is due to the fact that we also rent construction and yard equipment. You will be responsible for taking phone calls, emails, and inquiries related to equipment, but that is not the main purpose of this position and we will make sure you are comfortable before handling these inquiries.
We work with many venues and event professionals. Attention to detail and providing a positive experience are some of the most important parts to our image, so someone who is aware of handling situations with care and making sure the customer feels valued is top priority. We are looking for someone who values this, as well.
