Being a dad is not a full time job, because full time is typically 5 days a week 40 hours per week. But dadding is 24 hours, 7 days a week. There is no lunch break, or 15 minute breaks every few hours. There's 24 hour love and attention coming from your soul.
Not everyone can be a dad. And being a step dad is definitely not for the week.

Tonight we had Shrimp & Grits 🦐🤤
The Shrimp was marinated and cooked in - 1 Whole Lemon, 4 Tablespoons of Honey, Louisiana, Lawrys, and pepper (to liking).
Our veggies consisted of Half Onion and 1 Whole Green Bell Pepper & 3 cloves of fresh Garlic. Its was then seasoned with Parsley Flakes, Paprika, Ground Cummin, Salt, & a dash of Garlic Powder.
The Grits were Cooked for 25 min, then we added butter and sugar to taste 😋

This was a simple 1 pot meal with simple ingredients see below all that was in it!
3 Fire Roasted Tomatoes (we roasted on the propane grill)
1 whole Jalapeño
4 cloves of fresh Garlic
2 cans of Vegetable Broth
1 can of Whole Black Beans
1 can of Southwest Corn
1.5 lbs of chicken thighs (you can use any cut)
1/2 pack of Corn Tortillas cut into slices ro fry
Chopped cilantro, sliced lime, and lemons.
