Oilfield store/Café - 16964 North State Highway 49, Casey Illinois. 217-549-9053. Regular hours: Wednesday 11 to 2, Thursday 11 to 2, Friday 11 to 8 and Saturday 11 to 2. However, I will not be open this Saturday, January 18.
***Wendell McClain ** will entertain you this Friday, January 17 from 6 to 8 PM. The special that day will be chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, a vegetable and a supper roll. Pies: apple, coconut cream, sawdust and berry mix. I will not be open Saturday, January 18. ”See Ya!”

Open Wednesday 11 to 2, Thursday 11 to 2 and Friday 11 to 8. **I will not be open this Saturday, January 18, 2025.** The weather interfered  with me being opened last Saturday, unfortunately. I had planned on not opening this Saturday for my granddaughter’s baby shower. I hope to see you Wednesday, Thursday or Friday this week!

I’ve decided to not open tomorrow -Saturday January 11, 2025. I had a hard time driving out of the driveway this afternoon. That light fluffy snow kept my tires spinning. I had to make three attempts to drive onto the highway at the north entrance (or exit as it were..) then I backed up and got out onto the highway on the first attempt using the south drive! It was interesting!! Stay safe and I will see you next week starting Wednesday!

Well, the snow is still coming down. It’s very fine but it does accumulate. My car is almost covered up again, but I’m here! On the menu- Today, Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11. I will be closing at 2 o’clock Friday and Saturday (as usual) if you’re out and about drive with care!

The Oilfield store will close at 2:00 pm tomorrow January 10th. The forecast is showing more snow starting tomorrow- so stay in and stay warm!

The Oilfield store Café will be open all year!!
Come on over and have a great meal in a unique, relaxing atmosphere. The store was built as a one room school called Butternut in 1866. It was renovated and used as a general store in 1924. It has been moved twice, but only a few yards in between each site!

Today at Oilfield we have cooked cabbage for the start of your new year! It’ll bring you lots of good luck and money they say! The special is any single sandwich with a side and drink 11.99. Homemade chicken noodle soup also available. Open 11 to 2 today. Happy new year! “See ya!”

After this week it’s back to work! The Oilfield Store will be open all year in 2025 beginning Wednesday January 1st-11-2!
Regular hours are Wednesday 11-2, Thursday 11 to 2, Friday 11 to 8 and Saturday 11 to 2.
Live entertainment every Friday from 6 to 8 PM. Friday, January 3rd Charles will entertain you!
