Creative community partner Heirloom & Native (Insta: ) will be making Jack Horner Pies, and one lucky winner for each experience (Early or VIP: the one who has earned the most tickets throughout their experience), will take home a Jack Horner pie. A Jack Horner Halloween pie is like a Mardis Gras King Cake where either charms were baked into a cake & which one you got in your piece was an omen for the year ahead, or a crepe paper centerpiece was constructed with pieces of a pie like cardboard with fortunes or charms inside. There is so much we've forgotten about our traditions as Halloween grew commercialized.

The creator of Candlelight Frights Azriel Anthony decided it was necessary to address some misconceptions circulating about The Vintage Halloween Experience. We hope it helps assuage any fears you might have!

Halloween. A night for miscreant pranks. A chance for costumed kids to satisfy an aching sweet tooth. A satanic holiday. An excuse to dress up and party. All of these persuasions have entered into the modern understanding of Halloween. But where did this holiday really begin? Our ancestors would have spent the months leading up to October gathering materials for a homemade costume. The night of the celebration, they gathered to play play folk games like bobbing for apples or chestnut roasting. Each of these traditions have a special significance and we feel like Halloween is more meaningful when we understand why. That is why we are proud to host the 2023 CANDLELIGHT FRIGHTS Halloween experience. In this video, we explain the two types of tickets you can buy ($20 for basic entry and $30 for VIP tickets).
