The Child Development Associate Preschool credential from the Council for Professional Recognition is offered at Casper College. This two-semester class covers the essential competencies needed by early childhood preschool professionals to advance their careers in early childhood development. We will cover the following for infants and toddlers and preschool-age children: safe and healthy environments; physical, intellectual and emotional development; family relationships; and managing effective programs. This program includes leadership and communication sessions, guest speakers, and guided labs for portfolio development. Test fees and textbooks are included in the tuition. IV Therapy for the LPN
The State of Wyoming requires LPNs to obtain an IV therapy certification to perform peripheral and central lines tasks. Participants must complete 16 hours of educational study, pass an infusion fluid and drug calculations exam and perform required skills, and complete 8 hours of lab starting peripheral IVs, changing central line dressings, and performing pertinent IV skills. Friday April 15th by noon is the registration deadline.
