The last of summer's flowers went to the wedding of a Wyoming girl with beautiful red hair and a tanned and freckled nose. She and her mom met with me and told me what the colors were going to be, but just let me do my thing and surprise them. I love doing that! Thank you! ♥️

As the sun sets on this year’s Summer Concert Series, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who joined us under the stars. Your presence, energy, and love for music made this season truly special.

Whether you were swaying to the rhythm, singing along, or simply enjoying the beauty of the night, you brought The Bloomery to life in ways we could have only dreamed of. Your support helps us continue to create magical moments like these, and we couldn’t do it without you.

To our incredible performers, thank you for sharing your talents and filling our garden with melodies that will linger in our hearts long after the final note. To everyone involved in putting on the concerts and providing food and drinks, your hard work and dedication behind the scenes made everything possible.

And to our cherished community, thank you for being the heartbeat of The Bloomery.

And just like that, Casper... we're down to our final concert of the year. 😢 Summer flew by and we're so excited to round out a beautiful series with you all to the lovely sounds of Kelly Hunt this Saturday.

The daughter of an opera singer and a saxophonist, Hunt was raised in Memphis, TN amidst a motley mélange of musical influences ranging from Rachmaninov to Joni Mitchell to Mississippi John Hurt. You won't want to miss her soothing sounds filling the Wyoming evening.

From the high mountain river-valley of Durango, Colorado right to our little farm comes this five piece band of musicians called Liver Down the River. Their music is a blend of original and improvisational compositions that take the listener on a journey to the high peaks of bluegrass, down to the deepest pockets of the funk, and through to the outer reaches of space. Good morning from The Bloomery! This spring we have so enjoyed watching these two great horned owl babies fledge and learn to fly as they follow their diligent mother from branch to branch and tree to tree. They sure cast some big shadows when they pass over! I'm thinking of naming them "Frankie & Johnny" after a favorite song my grandpa used to sing. Hopefully they'll make an appearance next Saturday as we enjoy Mark Oblinger along with Eric Moon on steel pedal. Amy Gieske will sit in on a few tunes on bass.
