Did you hear the news? We might be bias but we are big fans of Casper. There’s a little bit of everything here and opportunities are growing.

“Casper isn’t sitting on its laurels, either. It’s working to bring new and different tourism opportunities to the city. Among these is the Wyo Sports Ranch, a new sports training and tournament facility that can have 10 basketball courts and 20 volleyball courts going all at one time.”

This facility will be providing one location for multiple events, removing the need to bounce from one location to another for a weekend of activities. A concession stand will help parents from having to leave the facility to get nourishment for their child and risk the chance of missing an event. And the ultimate unknown of available seating, every parent wants to watch their child and having ample seating is important. And let’s not forget parking, besides seating parking is aways a problem at events. The Wyo Sports Ranch will check all these boxes."

When asked what do you hope this facility does for the City of Casper and State of Wyoming, GW Mechanical could not be more true to their vision by stating, "We hope this facility will bring more revenue to boost and strengthen the economy. Being centrally located we believe this facility will be beneficial to many across the State of Wyoming easing some burden of travel. We also hope this facility will put us on the map for large sporting events and possibly some regional events to come to town. The exposure this facility will provide for Casper and the State of Wyoming will be worth it. We hope the opportunities provided to our youth will provide them with opportunities they wouldn’t get otherwise. For those of you who are new around here, the Wyo Sport Ranch is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility that will serve as a hub for: recreation, training, entertainment, and a variety of community pursuits and events.

The facility will boast not only 6 permanent basketball courts and 12 permanent volleyball courts, BUT a multi-use indoor turf.

Which when you do the math… will put Casper on the map for youth sports AND national tournaments.

Creating more opportunities for our youth AND driving the local economy forward in a revolutionary way!

Where exactly will this facility be located you ask? The Wyo Sports Ranch is being built just northeast of the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper, Wyoming. At the Wyo Sports Ranch, youth will have the opportunity to participate programming like development leagues, camps, clinics, and club teams. Studies show active kids do better, so we want to provide all kids an opportunity to partipate at a variety of levels so all can play.

Good morning all! If you haven't been up to the site we are starting to excavate for our building pad foundations. Huge progress and a great accomplishment!

We will be bouncing balls in the facility before we know it but in the meantime we would love to hear from the community about what features you are most excited about and how you and your family intend to use it?

The facility will have six permanent wood courts in one wing and the other wing will have permanent turf with the ability to overlay four additional wood courts.

We are excited to see our community using the facility, its amenities and improving the lives of our users!
