The Front Porch Promise Farm was very busy yesterday August 3, 2024, hosting the All Class Cassadaga Valley Central School Alumni party - “We’re Here For A Good Time”.

There was food, fun, music, dancing, and a very special tribute to CVCS military men and women who served in the armed forces from WWII through the present.

There is no doubt those in attendance had a good time and left with happy hearts!

Thank you to Cheryl Runge Person and all those who worked with her to offer this event to the community. And thank you to the South Dayton Hotel for their catering services.

The Front Porch Promise Farm was honored to welcome the Cassadaga Valley High School Class of 1974 for their 50th class reunion dinner dance celebration last evening August 2, 2024.

Dreams of the heart happened here as precious memories were made by long time high school friends.

Over the last few days the story of The Front Porch Promise Farm was featured in a three part series on the John Kucko Digital FB page.

John is a well known retired news anchor and sports caster out of the Rochester area who enjoys a very large social media following. His work in photography and written communication is simply unmatched!

When we were approached by John about doing a series on the story of The Front Porch Promise Farm on his social media page we said yes to his request.

When the first installment was posted we decided that we would respect John’s work by affording him the opportunity to enjoy his followers responses without overlapping the series to this page. So we purposely did not share the series while it was running on John’s page. We believed the spot light belonged to John’s page, not this page.

The series ended yesterday and we now feel we can share it on this page knowing that we have honored John’s amazing work.

A mystery gift …

The tag line for The Front Porch Promise Farm is “dreams of the heart happen here.”

So yesterday I discovered this heart shaped rock. It was placed sometime in the last few days at the base of tree on the rock bank behind the barn. It definitely was not there a few days ago. I would have noticed it when I watered the flower pots that are located right next to the tree.

I have no idea who might have put it there. It is a mystery I cannot solve. But if it was you, please know it is a precious gift to my heart and a priceless farm treasure! Thank you for adding a “special touch” to the farm.

Whoever you might be, your fingerprints are now woven into the story of The Front Porch Promise Farm.

Dreams of the heart do indeed happen here. This mystery gift testifies to it!

The Front Porch Promise Farm (FPPF) was pleased to host the Chautauqua Christian Academy “Sunset Stampede” Spring Formal Prom last evening, May 17, 2024.

The kids were an absolute joy - so polite, well behaved and friendly! Some wore traditional prom gowns and tuxes while others wore cowboy/cowgirls hats, big belt buckles, and boots. But what made us most happy was that they all wore smiles and filled the barn with laughter!

The tag line for the farm is “dreams of the heart happen here”. Last night we witnessed the tag line come true.

Thank you CCA for choosing the FPPF for your venue. Ya’all gave us a Yehaw happy heart!

Our hearts were full as we listened to voices raised together in singing Christ The Lord Is Risen Today during the Easter Sunrise Service this morning.

Such a blessing for the venue to kick off the 2024 season in such a meaningful way.
