We are currently at five teams at four locations. J&J's Sandbar now has one team. McCartney corners has two Teams. Tway's has one. Moon's has one.

With five teams this will cause a bye week in scheduling. Meaning that one team per week will have a bye ( not play ) unless we can reach 6 teams.

I need some help finding the sixth team. If you or anyone you know is interested please let me know asap. We plan on starting in two weeks.

Recap of tonight's meeting.
The collective decided league will be played on Wednesdays at 7pm. Locations involved are Tway's Lighthouse Lounge, Moon's Town Pump and McCartney Corners.
Sign up sheets are due by November 13th. The tentative start date is November 29th.
Each player will pay $5.00 per week into the league payout fund plus cost to play games each night.
The games are 12 games of 301 and 1 game of all play of 701.
Depending on the number of teams we plan on playing until at least March.

Monday October 30th @ 7pm there will be a meeting at Tway's Lighthouse Lounge. Anyone interested in playing darts or locations wanting to be involved should attend.

The meeting will be to determine if we have enough players and locations to continue on. Other topics will include what night we would play on.

Realistically we could play at one location as a in-house league. The bare minimum needed would be 2 teams of 2 or 4 players. Ideally we would like to keep two locations and 4 teams of 4 players.

If you or anyone you know has any interest please attend and spread the word.

Monday March 20th will be the payout party at Silver Spigot Saloon. Payouts starting at 7pm and if we have enough interested a small friendly tournament to follow.

Effective immediately we will no longer be using handicapping. Ideally handicapping helps keep league play competitive. This works best with consistent regular players from week to week. Understanding that many players are new and the high number of substitutes. Handicapping will not be effective until every player has established a average. Moving forward this season will hopefully help established an average for the majority of players with the hope we can use handicapping in future leagues.

Freeze rule

Frozen – A player is FROZEN when his or her score is at one point (two points in “Double Out”) and his or her partner’s score is higher than the combined score of their opponent’s. The player may not get his score any lower without losing the game

Tonight's meeting summary.

League will start next Monday November 21st. at 7 p.m. and each week at 7 p.m.

Team captains information will be listed on the schedule. If for any reason you or your team are unable to play, please contact the captain of your team and/or the opposing team before league starts. No call-no shows will be counted as a forfeit.

We have 4 teams of 4 players with substitutes randomly assigned to teams.

13 games will be played per night, 12- 301 and 1-701 all play. A total of 13 games per night.

League will be played a total of 12 weeks and will skip Monday 12/26. Last week of play is February 6th.

The schedule will be posted on this page and on the dartboards.

Reverse handicapping will be used. ( 301 is the minimum and higher average players will start higher than 301 ) The first 2 weeks of play will be heads up in order to establish averages for everyone.

Each player will add $5.00 per week to the payout fund. 100% of the funds are payed out based on wins. These funds are added to the dartboard before league starts each week. Game costs are additional.
