I cut my first flowers of the season before the much-needed rain! Those of you who bought Pollinator Packs, here's what you have to look forward to! These "cut and come again" perennials smell wonderful and boast a long vase life.

I'm planning to make deliveries Tuesday, April 23, so those of you who have made arrangements with me, I'll drop them by sometime in the morning. Cash is great, but I have Venmo and PayPal as well.

My dad always told me, "Mary, Rome wasn't built in a day!" He saw my impatience when I attacked a project; I thought if I tried hard enough, I could do something that should take several days or weeks in about 6 hours.

Although growing plants and flowers has taught me many things, patience is undoubtedly one of my most important lessons. Finally, the wait is over, and this year's Pollinator Packs are ready to go!

Each 4-pack of plants is $15 and includes one of the following perennial (yes, that means it comes back year after year), pollinator-loving (the bees and butterflies love them), easy-to-grow (this is key!) plants:
Achillea Apricot Delight Yarrow
Sweet William Mixed
Zagreb Coreopsis
Scarlet Mondarda (aka Bee Balm)
Now is the perfect time to put these beauties in the ground, or you can put them in pots for the summer and plant them in the fall! The choice is yours!
These sun-loving plants will spread over time and give you a cottage garden look.

The best thing about growing flowers is sharing them with friends who love flowers! Since I have flower-loving, football-loving Chiefs fans for friends, these seemed appropriate! A huge thanks to my daughter, Veronica Hutchens, for the cups and for always helping me chase my dreams. Go Chiefs!❤

Happy Sunday! First, let me thank everyone who signed up for the August flower subscription. The response was fantastic and much appreciated; I will be sending payment information soon, and if you didn't get signed up and still want to enjoy flowers for the entire month of August, there's still time!

Secondly, please keep Pollinators and Perennials in mind if you need flowers for any of the following occasions:

-wedding shower

You can supply your own vase, or I can provide a vase for you. Often, I only need a day's notice so that I can cut the flowers when it's cool outside before arranging them.
