Planet Comicon KC less than a week. who's with me?

⚡We're thrilled to welcome Forged in foam to Planet Comicon Kansas City's 25th Anniversary Makers Space.

Bruce Holt, known as Forged in Foam, known for making costumes over the last four+ decades, using skills with leather, EVA foam and plastic,including finishing touches of air brushing and makeup. His 'Forged in Foam' workshops vary from simple how-to tutorials,to a two-day shield class and beyond.One of his more memorable classes involved making a Starship Troopers costume,over a weekend, with 18 students at a local convention in Southern Missouri. Holt recalls that this was an extremely exciting workshop for students because Casper Van Dien of Starship Troopers was a celebrity guest on the roster. After the workshop,the students were surprised with the opportunity to do a photo shoot with Van Dien wearing the costumes they created in his weekend class.Van Dien also wore a special costume designed by Holt himself, using his signature techniques.
