Menu Falls, Zion National Park, Utah
Menu Falls is one of the few areas in Zion National Park that NPS allows weddings and elopements.
This location is a great choice for small elopements. There is not a parking lot to the location and it is not part of a trail. This means you will see very few people, if any. Because the location is inside the park it allows quick access to all the park views for photographs after the ceremony. Because the location is nestled in the canyon the lighting is always going to be good.

Part of the breathtaking beauty of Zion National Park is weather, where the weather is as dramatic as the landscape itself.

Great day officiating elopements in Arches National Park because all the permits were “2 thumbs up”! Don’t forget your permit, be on time in the correct spot with the correct number of vehicles and people. If you showed up to a dinner reservation an hour late you no longer have a reservation. Same in for NPS. Employees are placed at your location to assist you and check your permit.

Have a happy elopement because you did it right!

I love my job!
3 year earlier, on this exact spot, after sunset and by the light of a headlamp, a proposal was made and accepted. This morning at sunrise 🌅 they were married. I had the honor of driving 316 miles, 3 hours of dirt roads to be a small part of making their dream elopement location happen.

Not all boots are hiking boots.
Hiking causes Search and Rescue to be called more than any other activity. The majority of those calls are for injuries to the lower extremities, such as twisted/sprained or broken ankles or broken legs and knees. When we advise couples to wear boots and not wear dress shoes for the hike we REALLY mean HIKING boots. This is for your safety. If you do not own hiking boots, get some before you head out to your adventure elopement.
