REBRAND!! 🎉
After 3 years, we decided it was time for an update and re-introduction. 🤗
Hi! We are Sami & Gage Kevern, the owners and instructors of Cedar City Ballroom (previously Date Night Dancing).
We started this business in 2022 to bring more awareness and opportunities for ballroom dance to our community and offer a unique date night option for couples. Since then, we have had many opportunities to choreograph, perform, and coach in different capacities, including starting our own youth ballroom program.
We have changed our name and logo to encompass all of the unique dance experiences we offer, including:
* Adult ballroom classes
* Youth ballroom classes (8-18 yrs)
* Private lessons for individuals, couples, or groups (all ages)
* Choreography for weddings, special events, or larger groups
* Performances for parties or events

We have both been dancing since we were very young and have competed at the national level with teams, syllabus and open partners, as well as performed all around the US and Puerto Rico. We have a combined 37+ years of ballroom experience! We met on the SUU Ballroom Company in 2019 and have been partners in dance and life ever since!

Our January series of adult Date Night Dancing classes is open for registration! We have had a lot of requests for this one and thought it would be fun to “waltz” into the new year 🤗 This is a beginner class so no experience necessary! Come join us for a good time!

We are ready for the 24-25 dance season to begin in September 🤩
Registration is open for both our Junior and Teen ballroom teams! Both classes focus on technique and performance numbers and will cover Latin and standard ballroom styles. This is a great opportunity to build social skills, teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation while engaging in fun activity and movement!

We are so proud of our youth teams this year! They got to perform last week, some of them for the first time. So fun to see their hard work and effort shine! 🤩 We are taking a break for the summer and will start back up in the fall.
