What a fun, feel-good, division to watch! If you're in Eastern Iowa & the A.I.R.S.-American Iron Racing Series is racing, give them a chance to win you over. Apparently Travolta is going to star in a movie about dirt track racing. Twain plays his girlfriend. Here's hoping it doesn't suck, even though it wasn't shot in Iowa.

Many times this race season I told people, "track prep is a thankless job." When I actually look at it, that hasn't been the case at all. Throughout the race season I received many thank you's and complements about the track. Then last night, in front of an awesome grandstand crowd and a great field of cars, a group of people acknowledged my dad and all the hard work he has put into the track this year. On behalf of my dad, and myself, we want to say thank you. I think the whole night shows how there are a lot of people who care about racing in the area, and want to see the Clay County Fair Speedway succeed.
