Holy potatoes, friends!!

We’ve been busy! So far this month, we’ve served just under 2,000 meals and we’re only half way through.

Thank you to all of the couples who put their faith in us to feed their guests yummy food. Thank you to our corporate friends who choose to remain so loyal to us. And, thank you to all of our venue friends who refer their clients to us.

We are forever grateful for your continued support 🥹 ❤️

Party Potatoes…a Midwest favorite 😋

However, we’ve learned that there are two ways people make them. One, like ours, is a mashed potato mixed with all the goodness of cream cheese, sour cream, butter, butter, and more butter 😉 and our secret seasoning baked on top.

The other is more of a cheesy hash brown casserole style.

I’m a mashed potato kind of girl so I’d hands down always pick the first one. Which is your favorite??

Our brunch reservations are filling up fast, and spots are limited. Plus, reservations need to be made by Tuesday, May 9th, for one of two seating times of 9:30 am or 11:30 am.

Our brunch menu offers a variety of breakfast items, entrees, pasta station, sides, and desserts that are sure to please every palate.

Choose from Frittata, Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Potatoes, Pancakes, Sausage Patties, Biscuits and Gravy, Ham and Pineapple, and Sweet Potato Hash 🥞

Roast Beef, Braised Chops, Chicken Piccata, Penne or Tortellini and Assorted Sauces, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Mac and Cheese, Sauteed Vegetables, Broccoli Apple Salad, and Feta Berry Salad 🥗

And finish it off with an assortment of Cream Pies, Cheese Cake, Trifles, Chocolate-Covered Strawberries, and Brownie Bites 🍓

Our brunch is priced at a reasonable rate of
$24 for adults
$12 for children between 5-10 years of age
Children under 5 eat for free.

Plus, you can add a Bloody Mary or Mimosa Bar for only $8 more 🍹

In honer of I wanted to give a special shout out to our strong core of women! And, though they're not pictured, a special shout out to our part time ladies as well.

I see you, I think you're amazing at what you do, I appreciate you, and I thank you for being you 🤍

I can't make this post without mentioning our most important player. Our lifeline and jack of all trades. She likes to remain private, which is why she's not included in this photo. I respect her privacy, but I also think it's important to give credit where credit is due.

Our Tina. If you know her, you love her. She is kind, humble, smart, hard working, reliable, honest, thoughtful, a great leader, passionate, creative and works some serious magic in the kitchen. She also helps manage the property tasks at Rosedale Park Event Center where we're located.

I am so grateful that our paths crossed and that she remains a strong leader of our team!!

Our trusted couples and clients…this one’s for you!

I got so excited about celebrating our 5th anniversary yesterday that I completely forgot to thank the most important people…YOU!!!

Thank you for trusting us to be a part of your most memorable days and events. Thank you for following us. Thank you for liking and sharing our posts. Thank you for your referrals. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comments and reviews. It goes without saying that we would not have gotten this far without all of your continued support 🤍

It's a big day today, friends! Today marks 5 years since we made the leap to becoming a small business owner!! I want to share some interesting facts with you about small business...

1. Only 21.4% of small businesses are women owned!
2. 20% of small businesses fail in the 1st year!!
3. 30% fail by the end of the 2nd year!
4. And 50% fail by the end of the 5th!!

Well friends...we didn't come this far to only come this far 😉!!

We didn't start this business from the ground up so we didn't necessarily see those challenges, however, in the last 5 years...

1. We have battled (and overcome) a pandemic
2. Experienced (and overcome) the wrath of a derecho
3. Tackled inflation
4. Rebranded and renamed our venue
5. Rebranded and recreated our catering company (that has what I believe to be some of the best food in town 😊)
6. And managed to keep the business afloat through what was the biggest loss and most heartbreaking moment of my life (the sudden death of my brother).

AND WE'RE STILL HERE!!!!!!!!!!! And, we're not going anywhere!

We've shifted where we need to shift. We're growing! Every day. On both a personal and professional level. As any other small business owner knows, there are so many rewards to this journey, but also so many worries and stresses to overcome along the way.

I have my moments of doubt and worry, and sometimes I wonder if I'm cut out for this. I worry if this is too much for my family to bear at times (IYKYK). And then, I look at the past 5 years and see what we've recreated and I feel empowered to push on.

We wouldn't be here without the full support of my husband (Quint) or the creativity, work ethic, passion, care, and personality of our strong team of employees. I am so thankful for ALL of you!!!

We LOVE grazing tables ❤️

They’re definitely a labor of love. They take quite a bit of pre planning, prepping, and imagination, but they’re so beautiful in the end.
