Recently, a customer told us she heard that Loosies was closing. Although news to us, we hope this is not a rumor that has affected our business. Truthfully though, business the last five weeks has been dismal, including the unfortunate (temporary) loss of our food truck due to a blown engine. In order to remain viable, it may be necessary to cut hours for our staff. We currently have amazing employees and this would pain us greatly. Ours is a small restaurant. We hope there is still room for a business like Loosies, that is unique and provides a pleasant experience where people can get off their phones for a while, enjoy good food in an environment where everyone is welcomed and respected, and maybe talk with the person next to them who they have never met before. Small businesses like ours with smaller revenues do not have the resources to ride out very extended slow periods and seasonal downturns. The restaurant business is tough and we realize we are not the only one struggling. We know it is on us to earn your repeat business. We see every day the passion and love Sandy tirelessly puts into the preparation of Loosies' food, and hope more people can appreciate it. Word of mouth is our most powerful tool, and we ask only that if you enjoy Loosies, you pass it on and share your experience. Just please don't forget us.
