My name is Raines Sackett, Owner & DJ of Encore Entertainment. This Spring of 2021, will mark my 17th year anniversary in the entertainment business. My pursuit and desire in starting Encore Entertainment originated from a love I have for music & entertaining. Really creating moments that live on and to ensure each and every experience is a positive one.
This all started after a disappointing experience my wife and I faced with our wedding DJ some years ago, that landed us on a very popular and well-known court show called "The Judge Mathis Show" - the episode is posted here on the page. Great news came out of this mess, we won our case! From that moment forward and based on my passion for music & entertainment, I knew I could offer more and do better by opening my own DJ/Entertainment business.
In 2004, Encore Entertainment was established, with good music and special effect lighting. Encore has continued to bring and make events fun filled and a memorable experience for every person attending the event. We specialize in weddings, but also any event where music is a must have. Our package offerings are customized and ones that you don't want to miss. We offer dance floor lighting, monograms, up lighting, and entertaining photo slideshows.
For me, being a DJ is so much more than just the music and lights. It’s about supporting and managing what's needed for an event to go off without any issues. Keeping everything in order, on time, and guiding everyone throughout the entire event. Touching base with all the vendors during the event, to ensure everyone is on the same page, knows what to expect, and when to expect it. We aim to please, by helping manage the day and letting the host(s) relax and enjoy the celebration with their guests.
Because my clients see that I'm fully invested in their event, most of my business is by word of mouth. I feel privileged to be part of so many wonderful memories and I treat each event as if it were my own. I am very passionate, personal, and sincere with every event I commit to. I love what I do and I like to believe that it shows!
