Snowmobile Drag Racing Details for The 2017 Michigan Winter Fest held at Yankee Zephyr Raceway Park Located at 13540 West St., Cedar Springs Michigan 49319 are as follows.
Snowmobile Drag Racing at The 2017 Michigan Winter Fest February 17th & 18th will begin at 10 AM both days. The format for Drag Racing will be “Grudge Match” style drag racing, that is open to anyone over the age of 16 years with I,D. and a Trail, Pro Drag, Sno-X, Cross-Country, Oval, Enduro, Vintage, OEM Snowmobile. Any make model year or style of OEM Snowmobiles are welcome to participate. This race is like taking your automobile to a Drag Strip on a Friday night, you are simply buying track time. Track time cost is $20 per Snowmobile allowing you to make as many passes as you like. Perhaps the question of what class does my Snowmobile run in? Answer: there are no classes during open track time, you want to race someone, just ask them to join you in the staging area and when it is your turn you will be on the line together. We have found it is not necessary to make classes everyone dose it for themselves, running who you want as many times as you want. There will be a timing system on site that will score the race with finish placement, R,T. & E,T. time slips for all racers. At the end of the day of “Grudge Match “ style drag racing we will offer four specialty classes one will run on Friday February 17th and Three will run Saturday February 18th if you wish to compete in these specialty classes the details are listed below.
