Prevention Starts With All: The Chris Herren Story 🏀

On Wednesday, Novemeber 15th at 6:30pm, the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center is hosting a talk with Chris Herron about wellness and the disease of addiction. Chris Herron was a professional basketball player in the NBA before losing his career to the disease of addiction. He now travels to different communities telling his story and advocating about the importance of addressing the issues of substance use disorder, effective treatments, and the power of recovery.

This event is FREE and open to the public. This event is courtesy of Mel's Charities and multiple generous sponsors in the community.

🎨Students from the CHS Commercial Art class are working on designing the posters for each production. This year, the Fall Play is "The Odyssey," and the Spring Musical is "HONK! Every year, Cedarburg High School puts on a poster-making contest to give students a chance to have their artwork featured and used as advertising for the drama department. Deb Mortl, Cedarburg High School’s Art Department Chair, has the students from her commerical art class design the posters for each production. Below is a picture of the students working on their artwork for “The Odyssey” which is this years fall play.
