The holiday of Rosh Hashana is upon us tomorrow night. As we approach the new year, there is a commandment to give tzedaka, to help those in need. This year in particular those who are able are needed to help those struggling. Masbia feeds the needy, with dignity and respect. They are a truly worthy organization. Covid-19 has certainly taken on a toll on the hospitality industry. Those of us who rely on celebrations and gatherings to provide a service that we love are at a loss. I have been using this time to help provide meals for health care workers with and . I am also using this time to cook with my children, listen to their interests and bond with them. I have been avoiding parts of social media but decided to start sharing some of my home kitchen playing as well as my catering. This is some jicama slaw from the menu. I miss you all. ❤❤❤
