The best gift you can give your spouse is the gift of a photo shoot. Booking your wife a session is one of the most thoughtful and loving gestures—just like my client did for his wife’s birthday. This gift solidifies precious memories with the kids and allows them to be displayed proudly in their home.

💙 Today, on World Autism Day, I want to take a moment to celebrate the beauty of neurodiversity. As both a mother and a photographer, I’ve come to appreciate just how unique and incredible every perspective can be.

My son, who is Autistic, has opened my eyes to a world filled with wonder, depth, and honesty. He experiences life in a way that is both fascinating and deeply inspiring. Through him, I’ve learned to slow down, appreciate the little things, and see beauty in the details that often go unnoticed.

I’m endlessly grateful to be his mom—to walk beside him, to learn from him, and to witness the incredible person he is becoming. His perspective has changed mine in ways I never expected, and for that, I am forever thankful.

Today, and every day, let’s celebrate the strength, individuality, and brilliance of those on the autism spectrum. Let’s commit to greater understanding, acceptance, and inclusion—not just in words, but in action.

Families, You Need to Read This—Are You Doing This?

As a photographer, I see a trend, and I need to call it out. Families book photo sessions religiously for newborns, first birthdays, and maybe even second or third birthdays. But then, something happens. Around age four or five, family photo sessions start to disappear.

Life gets busy, schedules fill up, and suddenly, the only photos being taken are quick phone snaps—if that. But here’s the reality: your child keeps growing. The chubby toddler hands turn into little kid hands. The missing front teeth give way to a full, grown-up smile. The moments don’t slow down, and before you know it, you’re looking back, wishing you had captured more.
