The ✨suite ✨ life.

We’ve compiled a list of “must haves” to have with you in your bridal/groom suites on wedding day! Be sure to save this post to use as your checklist!

1. Breakfast AND lunch!
2. Multiple steamers (D+G does provide these!)
3. Essential toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, etc!
4. Water! And lots of it.
5. A small “emergency kit” (stain remover, small sewing kit, Tylenol, tums, etc.)
6. A comfy pair of shoes for dancing!
7. An additional white button up for our grooms! (In the the event that perspiration or a spill requires you to need to change!)
8. A box with your detail items for your photographer! (This includes rings/ringbox, shoes, jewelry, invitation suite, perfume/cologne, etc. Pro tip: you can just put this all in the box with your shoes!)
9. A fun getting ready playlist! (Both our suites are equipped with smart TVs so you can log right in to Spotify!)
10. A copy of your wedding day timeline!

Indoor chapel or outdoor chapel? Here’s why you need both!
1. Rain! This is an obvious one. You don’t want to stress about rain in the forecast. You don’t want your guests to sit on wet benches if the rain does stop. You don’t want to ruin your beautiful dress or hair and make up. The indoor chapel solves that problem!
2. With the outdoor chapel, you get beautiful natural lighting, and stunning views. But if inclement weather hits on your wedding day, you don’t have to sacrifice either of these because our chapel was built with floor to ceiling windows that overlook a gorgeous tree line and provide plenty of natural light to give that outdoor feel!
3. There’s other weather to consider besides rain! We may see excessive heat or strong winds. Having an indoor option you love just as much that you can pivot to day of is a game changer.
4. People change their minds! You may have always wanted an indoor wedding but as your big day gets closer, you may decide that an outdoor ceremony fits your vision better (or vice versa). We want you to have options!
5. NO ROOM FLIP! No rushing to flip the ceremony space into a reception space. No having to pay additional costs or hire additional staff to complete a room flip. No stressing!

2. Yard games for your guests! We provide D+G customized co****le sets but you are always welcome to bring your own yard games as well. (We have seen couples bring their own co****le boards and they have their guests sign it as their guestbook!)
3. Cocktail hour! This is a great space to place cocktail tables or additional seating for cocktail hour.

After returning from a venue owner’s conference, here are a few thoughts I want to share. ⁣

With almost five years under our belt in the wedding industry, I wish I could say we get it right 100% of the time. I wish I could say that we cracked the code on how to make every event go off without a hitch because I would definitely sleep better at night! ⁣
⁣
The reality is that we’ll never be perfect BUT we learn and grow from every single thing that doesn’t go perfectly to plan. ⁣
⁣
Although we’re not perfect, I absolutely love where our commitment to being our best has taken us. We never stop finding ways to improve our team, our venue, and the overall experience for our couples. ⁣
⁣
From attending wedding conferences, taking wedding courses online, planning and executing projects to enhance D+G, to training and growing an incredible team - it’s all to pour back into you guys. ⁣
⁣
You’re what makes all of this possible so we will always continue to search for ways to give you the “best day ever.” ⁣
⁣
