It's something special when a bride ties the knot wearing a Martina Liana wedding dress, but it's extra special when the bride is one of our team members 🥰 In January 2023, our owner asked each of us to share one goal or moment that we were looking forward to for the year. When it was Claire’s turn, she said, “I’m going to manifest an engagement ring!” 💍
•
By April, that manifestation became a reality when Matt proposed to Claire 💕 To say that our team was excited would be a gross understatement. For the months that followed, not a day went by without one of us showing Claire the newest wedding dress, veil, or bridal accessory that arrived. After all, she has 30+ “work sisters” who are experts in the wedding dress industry, and we were on a mission to create her perfect look for her wedding day. However, whenever we tried to narrow down her vision, something was always missing. It wasn’t until we hosted a Martina Liana Preview Event that Claire knew what she wanted.
•
There was one wedding dress that Claire couldn’t stop looking at. She kept telling herself it wasn’t meant to be since her family wasn’t in town. Plus, the gown was leaving our store the next day, so if she didn’t place an order that day, she wouldn’t be able to order the dress in the future. After some encouragement from our team and a FaceTime session with her mom, we convinced Claire to try the dress on. Surrounded in love by her work family (and her mom via FaceTime), Claire walked out wearing the perfect dress, accessorized by the biggest smile. When asked if this was her wedding dress, Claire nodded yes and started to cry. Because Claire purchased a preview style, there was a chance that it might not make a future collection. To quote Claire, “…it was a preview dress that didn’t make the collection, which made it feel like I had a bespoke gown.” 🤍✨
