Who is ready to get carried away in 2025? This is that time of year when I start getting some details from our couples and we're already looking forward to another beautiful wedding season! We love reflecting on the year and figuring out what worked for us and what didn't. Our couples booking amazing photographers will always be on the "what works" list!

That one time I was a Matron of Honor, planner, host and still snuck in some photos. Believe me, I left all the details to the hired photographer but I still couldn't help but snap a few film shots of my sister's wedding. It was a whole vibe and I loved it. Planning & Design was done by our team Magnolia Hill Events. coordinated while I actually was in the wedding. Linens Florals Rentals was the photographer, she knew I couldn't help myself and snapped a few detail shots! We can't wait to get started on our 2025 weddings, its going to be an amazing year.

Caroline, you do the blue so well. She's also my favorite florist for the greenery in the beams, my absolute fave. It always looks so effortless, no one does it better. We loved coordinating this wedding, it came together so perfectly. @

Its that time of year where I make a list. We're walking through the building, making note of what needs replaced or cleaned up. I've always thought I'd change up some of the bridal suite but then again, it still calms me when I walk in. I feel like the space should be well lit, neutral and open for these beautiful moments. We shall see what gets updated and what stays. Love this time of year to recap it all.

Here is a burning question, are you more team red for Christmas or team green? I can still remember all our decorations when we first got married being LIME green and red. I know there is a place for lime green but it wasn't on my tree and in my home. My current home is split, we have a good mix of both because they make me happy.

Happy Thanksgiving! We're tremendously grateful to all our couples and family's who chose Magnolia Hill this year, we couldn't do this without you so thank you so much. We are also so thankful for Esther and all the work she put in this season coordinating and managing. It was a pleasure working alongside you! To our chair movers who come and move chairs through the masses of people, thank you! Our wonderful caterers and vendors, we adored working with you all this year making each wedding an absolute stunner! To our oldest daughter Molly, who took on babysitting her siblings this year while we worked, you did an absolute amazing job and survived! Coty, you are multi-talented in all that you do and the fact that were worked every single wedding just shows your dedication to our family and business. Thank you for all that you do at Magnolia Hill, I'd name it all but this caption isn't big enough. We're so grateful to everyone we work with who help make all our wedding so special and unique. Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

I cannot begin to tell you the science of closing one half of the doors meant that there would be no wind but having them all open it was literally a wind tunnel! Luckily the building is white and we have amazing light because even with some doors shut, look how gorgeous. It was a windy yet beautiful day we will never forget. I'd love the bow trend to never end. I personally have never stopped loving them but everyone else can carry on! No bow was wasted at Taylor & Kolton's wedding! I took the bows from the ceremony aisle and tied them to the backs of some guest chairs by the dance floor, it was perfection.
