I started my week with a doctor visit and upper respiratory infection. 🫣
Thank goodness for family, antibiotics and steroid pack because I don’t think this house would have gotten finished for Saturday’s “Baking with Santa” Pictures 🍪🎅🏻

With a few small items left to add to this Christmas Scene, we are ready and I can’t wait to see how these turn out.
Kandice and I wanted to do something a little different this year and I LOVED being able to use my creativity to make this Santa Scene.

Quite the story shared with me by Kandice Paige DeWitte — it’s a great read worth a smile:

COOLEST, BUT CRAZIEST thing I have ever found!!!
Today, we went fishing 2.5 hours from home.
At lunch, we headed toward the bank to eat lunch when I spotted a ring on the edge of the water at the bank.
A 2004 senior class ring from a school in Bell Buckle, TN with a very common name engraved on the inside.
After failed Facebook search attempts, I Googled the name and school it was from and found pictures of him and his brother on the school page.
I found his brother on Facebook and sent him a message letting him know we found the ring. Instantly, he message back:
“Wow, that's amazing.
He just flew in from Seattle and is standing right beside me,” wrote the brother.
I told him we would mail the ring to him, but we were curious and wanted to know:
“How long has it been missing?"
Get this: It had been in the river for 20 years exactly.
He lost it at the end of a senior year camping trip when his canoe flipped and the ring slipped off his finger.

Wow … bet he never dreamed he’d see that ring ever again.
