Gorgeous 5 yr old foundation qtr grade gelding! Dark bay/black. Great start on training. Trail rides. Excellent barrel prospect. Introduced to barrels, has never run barrels. Bull riding practice this Tuesday night at 6:30 pm at Wolf Creek Ranch. Do you want to bull ride? Come to practice and learn all you need to know about riding, handling and “fighting”. It is recommended to call in or text 931-994-3577 with name and age. All participants must sign a waiver. If you’re under 18 yrs old a parent must accompany you & sign in order to participate. $25 for the night. Light Refreshments will be available for an additional small charge. Only Family members will be allowed in to watch at $5 each to enter. Call or text for more info or questions. See you Tuesday!
We do have extra vests and helmets you do not need to have your own for practice night.

WCR Rodeo was a big hit last Saturday evening. With over 125 spectators and participants our hearts were overwhelmed with the outpouring of support our community and surrounding communities showed. Donny exclaimed” I feel like Kevin Costner, if you build it they will come..” and no doubt with the support of The Lumber Yard LLC, here in Centerville and Prince Hardware, LLC the bleachers were doubled in size and safety barrier installed for this years fall rodeo events, and y’all showed up big time 🙌🏻. Thank you thank you thank you!

WCR own Austin Hinson competed in his first ever jump n run at Hohenwald fair last night. With over 50 vehicles entered in the race, Austin won his first round and continued to the second where he drove like a boss but threw a timing belt after taking a hit while entering the second lap. All in all it was an awesome first race. The rain held off, the race itself was organized and fast! Praise the Lord for keeping all of the competitors safe 🙌🏻 Way to go Austin!!! We recently received a call from someone who was given our address to meet a man to buy a horse…. Thankfully this lady called us first to confirm the address and make sure she wasn’t being scammed, which was a wise move. The man’s name is Vincent Gibson. We don’t know this name, or this person. And he has not contacted WCR at all.
It’s terrible that people are scamming and being dishonest like this. A definite reminder to not send money to people you have not 100 % checked out when buying any livestock. If it’s to good to be true, it probably isn’t. Kudos to the gal that did her homework! Horse folks have got to have each others back!

Congratulations to Alaina and Shiloh! Shiloh came to us from Arizona and has blessed us with his charming personality while he awaited his owner fencing in property for him to come to his TN home! The fencing is complete! And he is headed for green pastures and bubbling creeks. We are so excited for Shiloh and Alaina to be able to be together again!
This opens a position for boarding here at WCR…. Indoor arena, outdoor large arena, wash bay, stall board with daily turnout and handling. Boarders receive free admission to events along with discounted entry fees for rodeos. Lots of places to go riding in a growing equestrian community. We are surrounded by equine enthusiasts!! Highlight of the year!

WCR Rodeo awarded over $800 in payback and added money this past Saturday night. MPS Non GMO feeds sponsored our Barrels and Breakaway added money classes which spurned a wave of generosity throughout the night as several anonymous people added money to classes so that each class would payback generously. Thank you to MPS farms for creating a path of giving that proves to be rewarding for all! Big shout out to all of our fans! We had an awesome crowd in the stands! Y’all topped the night with your cheering and encouragement! Thank you! Join us for the final rodeo of the Fall Rookie Buckle series. Our top 3 buckle competitors are so close! The competition is going to be tense!!! Saturday Oct 28th at 7 pm. Entry is $5 at gate, $5 for concessions meal! You can’t beat that! See y’all at Wolf Creek Ranch this weekend!!!
