HAY, SALE!
We are clearing out the barn and they hay is on sale ($40 off!) at $300 a ton. If you have cows, goats or sheep, or get your hay shipped to Oregon, take the no-sales tax discount of only $280 a ton! Our small 40ish pound bales are easy to handle, and smooth brome grass is a favorite of horses and other animals.
Our hay is tested (results available for the asking) and we also have low-sugar hay if your vet has recommended that. Delivery is available within 50 miles, and free sample bales are at the barn. Call or text Matt at 509-250-3755

We have Low Sugar hay for your special needs horse. If your vet is recommending a low sugar diet, check out this batch of smooth brome grass hay from a field that we recently tested. Just what the doctor ordered, $300 at the barn, local delivery is available.

Do you need hay? We still have a good supply of our small bale smooth brome grass hay, $360 a ton plus $3 per mile delivered, or at the barn for a $20 discount at $340. We also have last year's slightly leaner hay for easy-keeper horses, for $40 less. Are you feeding something besides horses or are you in Oregon? I can take off the included 7.5% sales tax, too!

I know you all like to eat, but Facebook no longer allows advertisements for food made out of animals, such as meat. That makes it kind of difficult for small farmers like me to stay in the meat business selling our delicious Jersey beef. Its almost like Big Food would rather my product lost all brand identity in the commodities market. (This is where the profit isn't made by the farmer and the quality that the farmer puts in is lost in feedlot factory processing. )
So if you are looking for farm-fresh, grass raised meat be sure to contact me outside of Facebook Marketplace, because you won't find my advertisements there. I have half and quarter beefs available right now for those who are hungry and appreciate quality natural and sustainable protein. Contact me for the details.

There was a fire today that started just east of our Ranch and covered about 100 acres before everyone got it out. We were first on the scene with our ranch water truck! Fortunately our place was not burned at all and no homes were lost. Thanks for all the firefighters who got it under control so fast!

This year's hay is now for sale! We have smooth brome, which turned out quite nice, for $360 a ton plus $3 a one-way mile for delivery. Or pick it up at the barn for $20 off. Free sample bales are always available so you can try before you buy. And we still have some good hay from last year, $40 off. This is great horse hay, and turned out nice and leafy and green. As always our bales are small and light - this year they are about 44 pounds each, 46 bales to the ton.

We have beef! Yummy Jersey Beef! I have a couple of slots for a half or quarter cow available as soon as April. The cost is only $4.50 a pound hanging weight, and I expect weights to be in the 225 pound range for a total cost (cut and wrapped how you want it and delivered to you) of about $1000. I am taking reservations for May, June, and later slaughter dates right now, so contact us for more information on filling your freezer with delicious grass finished Jersey beef.

We're super stoked about our fall events this year! We hosed down the road for Ohm on the Range with the firetruck today, Milsim West was out last weekend, and in a few weeks Escape Events will be out to join their giant polar bear, elephant, and rhino. Looking forward to seeing y'all!
