The History of Communi-BLAST: The very first Communi-BLAST took place on a hot and sticky summer evening at a local residents home in Beebe on July 26th 2005. Fueled by spiritual convections, the idea was conceived that there was a need for a social event wher
e people could come & have fun without worrying about pressures of compromising on their integrity or beliefs. The plans for the first event were simple, to host a backyard pool-side cookout with entertainment provided by local Christian bands. This idea eventually evolved in to a come one - come all multi-band event that gained word of mouth momentum and featured many local and even nationally recognized major recording artist and bands. Throughout it’s nearly 4 years of active service Communi-BLAST hosted over 20 shows with more than 50 performing artist, bands, and speakers - and had the combined attendance of over 2000 people. Now, three years after the last Communi-BLAST event was held in 2008, plans are being made to revive this once thriving event - and we are reaching out to those whom supported and performed with us once before, asking if they would support and perform with us once again. It is our hope that Communi-BLAST will grow and expand into something larger and more influential than it was years ago - and we hope you join us. Dates have not been set yet, but we are currently planning three events/shows that will kick Communi-BLAST back off in high gear!
