The most beautiful fall day that this autumn had to offer just happened to be that of Tim and Olivia’s wedding day. Quite possibly the most beautiful, warm, November day ever!

With leaves falling perfectly in to place as Olivia walked down the aisle, bride and day alike were absolutely elegant and timeless.

The evening hours gave way to an epic celebration of family and friends with a party for the ages. I’m quite certain every single person in attendance was on the dance floor to celebrate. Tim and Olivia it is clear to see, you are so loved!

A beautiful little historic town alongside the Mississippi River, Alton, IL always provides the perfect backdrop for a fall wedding. Atop a hillside over looking the streets and river below sits St. Mary’s Church, one of the Crown Jewels of Alton. As soon as I walked in I knew how spectacular this day would be.

Walking from behind the wall of glass windows to the front of the church to meet her groom, Elizabeth was absolutely stunning and timeless. These two were so happy to see each other, it was such a beautiful sight to witness.

After an epic ceremony they made a few stops by their favorite places for some fun, and then rounded out the afternoon at Pierre Marquette. They love to go on walks here, and this day in particular was perfect with the leaves falling down around them. The day ended with the best celebration at Pierre Marquette lodge surrounded by family and friends who could wait to talk to the newlyweds. They are so loved!

A gorgeous fall afternoon provided the absolute perfect setting for a recent autumn wedding at Haue Valley. The weather was incredible, the leaves timed their color change just right, and Alison was stunning walking down the aisle to meet Brandon!

This sweet couple celebrated alongside family and friends, and the two most handsome little boys you ever did see! After the ceremony they walked, talked, popped champagne to celebrate, laughed and laughed, and had the absolute best day. It’s easy for anyone to see they are the best of friends.

We always always ALWAYS love covering weddings at The Barn at Lone Eagle Landing, but this one may be one of our absolute favorites yet!

These two have amazing family, friends, and the the most perfect twin flower girl/daughters you ever did see. Everything was stunning down to the very last detail for this day, and especially Kylie in that incredible gown, GORGEOUS!

I have never had a more eager crowd to participate in photos, but it was absolute magic. When everyone rushed the patio outside for the perfect kiss pic underneath the twinkle lights, I couldn’t have even planned that any better if I tried! Thank you all, you are THE BEST!

MICHAEL + COURTNEY | MARRIED

Grant’s Lodge was an amazing setting for a beautiful afternoon wedding and this gorgeous couple. Courtney was absolutely stunning in her lace dress, walked down the aisle by her father, son, and of course the cutest flower girl you ever did see! Inside provided the perfect spot for Michael and Courtney to say their I-Do’s while a few wedding day sprinkles rained down outdoors, but rain is good luck you know!

After a quick ceremony we made a stop by Engine House 32 for a quick hello to Mike’s work brothers. In between calls we snagged some amazing shots of the newlyweds. Everyone was super excited to see this pair stop by on their big day! They cheered, they applauded, they whistled, Engine House 32 was the absolute best audience for their newly married best friends!

The perfect day ended with the perfect celebration at Schlafly Bottleworks. The food, the desserts, the drinks, the friends, the laughter, everything was incredible! We even snagged a quiet spot for their first dance under the twinkling lights outside.

BRANDON + LYNZI | MARRIED

Elsah is a picture perfect town. I have been so excited to cover this day since I learned the ceremony would be at the little white chapel in the center of town. Built in 1874 it’s still a pillar of beauty, and it was the absolute perfect place for this marriage to take place.

Lynzi was absolutely stunning in a gorgeous satin and long sleeve lace gown. Brandon couldn’t have been a more perfect groom, all in black, complete with hat and boots. Together they are a perfect pair.

These two were so excited to see each other when she walked down the aisle, if they could have ran to each other they would have! The smiles didn’t leave their faces all day, and it’s easy to see they are the absolute best of friends.

They truly have the best of both worlds, amazing family AND friends. Right down the the best man picking some roses just so he could be flower boy for the occasion! They were surrounded by so much love and laughter throughout the night!

CHRISTIE + ALAN | MARRIED

Family is everything, and that was so apparent at this beautiful wedding. Alan and Christie were surrounded by their children, grandchildren, and closest loved ones for a gorgeous afternoon ceremony. Each of their grandkids walked them down the aisle, dear friends helped to marry them, and their children spoke a reading for their marriage. This wedding made for a school teacher couldn’t have had a more perfect setting than Public School House.

I don’t know who stole the show more the kids or the bride and groom. Alan’s grandson, ring security, was such a handsome little security guard. Christie’s granddaughter, aka flower girl was the sweetest you ever did see, ending with a nice basket dump at the end of the aisle. Then perfection, Christie walked down in a stunning blue dress, arm in arm with her oldest grandson. You could tell from his smile he was so proud to be the one to give her away, after all she is one special girl!

I truly believe there is a soul mate for everyone, you never know when in life you may find them. These two are absolute best friends, and so in love. Her smile and laughter lights up a room, and he is always gazing at her, smiling back. Thank goodness Christie’s sister played a part in helping these two find each other. It’s beautifully apparent they were meant to be.

Friends, thank you for letting us be part of your celebration, this was one of our all time favorite days. We wish you this much love and laughter always!

From the moment I first spoke with Kearston I knew this day would be nothing short of absolutely amazing. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

This bride was so gorgeous that I promise you a beam of light followed her through the entire ceremony. Now maybe it was just the perfectly placed skylight at St Cleatus Catholic Church, but I think it was more than that. Either way that gown had all the sparkles in the sunlight. INCREDIBLE!

Kearston and Michael were surrounded by SO MANY friends and family. People came from all over just to help celebrate this favorite couple. From the beautiful ceremony in St Charles, to dancing the night away at the Ameristar reception, everywhere they went was packed with all their closest loved ones!

One of my personal favorite highlights was stealing them away for a bit just so they can relax, talk, laugh, lay in the grass and have a drink. That and watching every guest at the casino run up for photos with the new celebrities! So much fun!

Goodness your day was epic, all of it, right down to the cake! Congratulations again friends, thank you for letting us capture these memories for you. Much love always!

ELIZABETH + JASON | MARRIED

They did it! Married/eloped/micro wedding/destination wedding, whatever you call it this gorgeous getaway wedding was absolutely INCREDIBLE!

Surrounded by their immediate family and a small bridal party, Liz and Jason said “ I-do” in Anthony Chapel of Hot Springs Arkansas. A giant glass chapel situated perfectly among the trees, there are not even words to describe how stunning it is.

Not only was their ceremony epic, but they spent the week with family and friends lakeside in the most beautiful waterfront home on Lake Hamilton. While the boys did lots of swimming, the girls soaked up the sun having the most relaxing pre-wedding week.

While they returned on Sunday to an awesome reception (stay tuned for Part 2 of those sneak peeks), their wedding night was so cozy and perfect. A small dinner of friends and family gathered to celebrate at the lakeside home, with laughter that lasted well into the night.

My sweet friends, it’s been an honor to watch you grow up and I can’t wait to see all that life has in store for you. Much love to you always!

These two had their big day exactly the way they wanted it…surrounded by so many family and friends! Not even the rain could stop this celebration. Guest came running in from heavy showers outside to a ceremony so perfect the thunder even clapped for them!

Watching Sara being walked down the aisle by her son, well I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place. This is such a remarkably beautiful family. It’s easy to see why they are so loved by so many.

….also, can we talk about how they had a live band? An absolute blast!

So you like adventure?

We hit the ground running in 2023 and with good reason, BIG announcements for the year ahead, and I am BEYOND EXCITED to finally share what’s in store…🎉

Let me back up and explain from the beginning of my rambling thoughts. Last fall I had just wrapped up an engagement session at Garden of the Gods with my now my new friends Sara and Jeff. When Sara booked she said THE magic words 🪄 “we trust whatever you want to come up with, wherever you want to go, we are just so excited!” Well… that’s EXACTLY how we ALL ended up far from home on a stunning autumn afternoon. 🍁🍂

Side note: Wanna know how much these two love each other?!?! Well, it’s enough to hike cliffside when one of them is terrified of heights,😳and also enough to hike barefoot because the other forgot the right shoes. 🥾Seriously, how cool are they?!!! Love has no limit with these two amazing people.

Back to the story now...I spent the afternoon hiking and capturing memories of my new best friends for a few hours. Two people exploring a new place for the first time, awesome. Capturing those moments and giving them the gallery of images from that day was epic. 😍

Next year I will be my 10th Anniversary of working exclusively with couples, so what still excites me the most about what I do?

I love epic moments. I LIVE for epic moments in my own life. The answer I was looking for was staring me in the face. Simple thought, so a simple concept on new additions to our services in 2023...

My absolute favorite time of year, paired with one of the most gorgeous weddings. Maybe it’s the lights, or the peace that comes with the season on a winter night when it just starts to snow. Winter weddings always have a bit of magic to them. The last wedding of 2022 brought all the love, and joy of the season with it for all involved. Landry and Kassidy had a perfect winter wedding. Kassidy was stunningly gorgeous in a one-of-a-kind long sleeve timeless gown! There were trees, lights, so many twinkle lights, family, friends, so much love, and at the very end of the night just a bit of snow came trickling down. I thought to myself right then “they did it, they had THE perfect winter wedding”, and they did. This day was an absolute pleasure to be a part of. I wish you this much love and happiness always.

A perfect December wedding wouldn’t be complete without twinkle lights, velvet green dresses, and the most stunning wedding gown you have ever seen. Andrew and Emily said their “I-Do’s” surrounded by family and friends at the gorgeous Walnut Hall Estate on a chilly December afternoon. Every winter detail of this entire day was exceptional right down to the fresh cut pine and hot chocolate bar. Emily you were exceptionally stunning in that oh so perfect gown, Andrew couldn’t keep his eyes of you all day long! A beautiful day, to start a beautiful marriage. It was cold, and windy, really windy, but oh such a gorgeous afternoon. Cameron and Lindsey tied the knot lakeside, under blue November skies. A quick stop by Centralia Fire Protection District was a must, and then they were off to a reception full of family and friends. These two have an absolutely beautiful family, complete with a perfect flower girl and ring bearer who stole the show most of the day! To everyone’s excitement, Chris and Paige tied the knot surrounded by loved ones from near and far on a perfect autumn day.
