A Love story for the ages! When Dana and Scott first fell "in love" at the tender age of 16 in the summer of 1987, they had no idea they would be engaged 37 years later! Juxtaposing their engagement shoot with their 1989 Homecoming photos makes this the perfect visual story to capture their romance. I've known Dana for 15 plus years and I've never seen her so giddy, in love, and SO deserving of a man like Scott. Best wishes for their upcoming nuptials and for years and years of true friendship and happily ever after!

Katie, a recent graduate of Westfield High School stayed busy during her 4 years! She was the captain of the field hockey team her freshman year, then completed two years of cross country and track. She was an avid volunteer in her community and was a member of the National Charity League, the Bulldog Buddies, and also volunteered for the Sweet Julia Grace Foundation.

Katie was among the top of her class and is a member of the National Honor Society and the Math Honor Society. As if that wasn't enough, she also spent 2 years as an editor for the yearbook. She’s going to Virginia Tech this fall to study Human Nutrition Food and Exercise. Congratulations Katie!

I had an awesome senior photoshoot with Clare at the peak of the Bluebells in April. Clare is graduating from Chantilly High School. She has been dancing since she was four years old and has danced with the Fairfax Ballet Company for five years, which has given her the opportunity to perform works from the Paul Taylor Modern Dance Company, as well as perform roles such as Chocolate and Clara in the Nutcracker. Clare has also participated in the Capstone program at school, in which she conducted a year-long research project culminating in a presentation and academic paper. Next fall, Clare will be attending William and Mary to study art history. Welcome to the Tribe Clare! 💚💛💚💛

Kate is an extraordinarily accomplished young woman and a graduating senior at Wakefield School. She is a reserve Cadet, C/2 Lieutenant, and the Drill Commander who led the Unity Reed High School Air Force JROTC unit VA-20065 to a 2023 Championship at the Air Force Drill Nationals in Dayton Ohio, as well as the Air Force Association State Championship for the second time in a row beating a record with a perfect and unmatchable score of 120/120!

In addition to her busy academic and club schedule at Wakefield, and her leadership and commitment to her JROTC unit, she also devotes several days a week to being a dance instructor who teaches and choreographs dances and productions for competitive dance competitions as well as recreational recital dances for children ages 4-12.

Kate will be attending Saint Joseph University in the fall to study psychology and continue pursuing her interests in mental health and wellness. She plans to become an officer in the Air Force and will be joining AFROTC Det 750 at her college. She also hopes to continue to foster her love of photography, and poetry writing. PRETTY in PINK and BLUE-- Every April for the last 9 years, I have taken photos of Ella in the Bluebells. Each year we pick a special dress for the shoot! This year we picked PINK since so many of the Bluebells are various shades of pink!

Since, last year was hectic with her HS graduation, I didn't get to post the 2022 Bluebell shoot so I included it here as well. ENJOY!!!

I adore this gorgeous family! I was lucky enough to have the girls in my preschool Acting Out classes and now they are all grown up! They are the kindest, smartest, and most loving little girls-- it's no wonder Ella babysits for them as often as she can! Thank you for bringing all these beautiful fall colors to life with your smiles!

This accomplished, brilliant, artistic, athletic, and gorgeous young woman is none other than Carys Davenport! Set to graduate from The Madeira School class of 2023, Carys has a bright future ahead of her. So much about this senior photoshoot was special. It was amazing to be on the campus of my high school Alma Mater, photographing Carys who I have known since she was a little girl. She is the daughter of my dearest and closest friends of over 30 years Siobhan and Corey Davenport. Siobhan and I graduated from Madeira in 1989 and I brought along our class yearbook so we could reminisce (during Carys' wardrobe changes) and soak in this full-circle moment. Even better, Ella and Carys have been friends forever and Ella was able to be home from college for the shoot!

Everything came together to make this shoot perfect and memorable. I'm so proud of Carys and the remarkable woman she has become. I'm grateful I have spent the last few summers with her as a camper and now Acting Coach in Summer Smash-Up. I absolutely can not wait to see what she does next!! Love you Carys!
