With the new sidewalk now installed, we no longer have need for the large doors (white barn doors) in the front of the building. It covers up an unsightly metal garage door. Soon, the barn doors will be removed and the opening will be bricked in to be in accordance with the current building codes. Approved Signage will replace it as well as a possible marquee (pending Town Council approval). We knew it was temporary when we put it up. Now, it's time to remove it.

I am so happy to see the work being done in downtown Chadbourn. It's moving forward and I say congratulations to those involved in getting it done...one step at a time.

Omg! I am so excited! The NCDOT is fixing the sidewalks in Chadbourn! Thank you Mayor Phillip Britt, Town Council, Town Manager, Steven Price and anyone else who had anything to do with this!

Announcing The Carolina Foundation For The Arts, based in Chadbourn and operating out of Brown Street Station.
This will provide us the opportunity to create cultural arts events for the community, apply for grants, accept donations (with legitimate tax breaks) and greatly advance the ability to help improve the reputation and aesthetic of Chadbourn.... but not limited to Chadbourn only.

Hey Folks! Greg Thompson here. Many times, churches remodel or an old church is being sold. Then the give away the pews or sell them very reasonably.

If you know of someone in Coco wanting to get rid of church pews, please let me know.

I might be able to get someone to pick them up for me.

Or...I child use about 50 church chairs. Not the folding kind, but padded solid church chairs.

I want to Thank all of the folks who came out and supported Brown Street Station's First Berry Bash. We are definitely going to do it next year but not sure if we're going to do it on a Friday or Saturday next year. If we do it on Friday, it will be late enough so that those who go to Encounters will be able to enjoy both if they want to.
