Y'ALL... though this past year has been incredibly trying, I have been tremendously blessed to work with BOTH Destiny Pinchon of Ione and Diane Mouton at Cat Flowers as a freelance designer. They have provided me with the encouragement, support, and opportunity I needed after some really tough months to find my creative mojo again!! I am so fortunate to be part of their flower family!

Even after almost 15 years of designing... it's nice to get compliments from clients. I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I am truly looking forward to another year of bringing smiles to people's faces when I walk in with something special that I made just for them. :)

If we seem a little... "high-strung" lately, bear with us. The repercussions of the pandemic, coupled with global warming, and rising fuels costs have made the past few months unprecedented. We are ALL doing what we can, from the growers to the suppliers to the designers, to give our clients the heslthiest product, at the most affordable price, in the most beautiful designs. But as in all things, sometimes the best laid plans don't come together as they should. Be patient, be understanding, and know we are all doing our very best.

2020 was one of the toughest years since we started this journey, and 2021 isn't shaping up to be much better. :/

Locally owned, micro businesses such as ours rely so very much on the kind words of our clients through referrals to keep our bills paid, our families fed, and a roof over our heads. As someone who is privileged to witness couples pledge their love to one another, it's hard to wrap my head around the fact that just over 50 years ago in*******al couples were not allowed to be legally married in this country. That all changed in 1967 thanks to Loving vs. Virginia. That's in my parents lifetime folks, and probably yours too. Imagine if we worked together what positive changes we could make to restrictive legislation and the legacy we would leave for OUR children... ❤️

Loving Day is celebrated on June 12 each year to mark the historic Supreme Court decision that made in*******al marriage legal.

It's been a "lemons out of lemonade" situation for us for this last year. Restrictions from the pandemic put a serious damper on our business, and forced us to pivot to other things keep the lights on. But despite our best efforts to step away, our clients keep calling. ☺️

We will work with prepaid plans from St Bernard Memorial Funeral Home , Charbonnet Funeral Home , Greenwood Funeral Home , and many other agencies to ensure that the flowers at the services for your loved ones are not only beautiful, but affordable. We will also provide delivery to any funeral home or church in the Greater New Orleans area. Be sure to ask for us by name when making your arrangements or contact us to set up a private consultation.

Despite having 14 years of design experience, I am still a student of my craft and always welcome the chance to learn from other designers. Over the last few days I had the opportunity to collaborate with the legendary Kali Marrionneaux and her team at The Plantation Florist, LLC. WOW. These ladies are TOP NOTCH designers!! Not only did they welcome me with open arms and make me feel like a part of their family, but they also shared incredibly valuable insight on installation techniques and design strategies that know will help me elevate my own projects. These are photos from just some of the fabulous designs that were executed by her team (including the talented Becky Soulier), with a little help from yours truly, for weddings this weekend. I am truly blessed to be able to work with such amazing talent! And I cannot wait for the next chance to bust out my black and create more beautiful designs with them!

In an effort to accommodate bridal clients who have had to make HUGE adjustments when planning the wedding of their dreams, we have decided to eliminate our $1800 required minimum when booking an event. These are strange times we are living in, and in order for our business survive, and thrive, we are adapting as much as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to discuss pricing or to schedule a consultation... we have LOTS of time on our hands!! 😉

We are having a serious problem with our cooler maintaining temperature and all of the product that was delivered yesterday is wilted.
