Initially my client wanted a backdrop with tropical balloons (balloons were her only must have item) but because the room was a lot smaller than we both expected, I insisted there wouldn’t be any room to move had we brought in a traditional backdrop. In order to bring in balloons we had to go up⬆️

I was so tickled she agreed because I secretly been wanting to create a balloon halo for years🤗

These past (5)years have been filled with so many ups and downs but by GOD’s GRACE Polished & Glammed Events is still here 🙌🏾

Running a business is HARD… yet somehow possible. As a Solo Entrepreneur, I’ve learned so much. The sacrifices, early mornings, late nights, discipline and work required ain’t for the weak. Regardless of what the internet show, Event Planning, Design & Decor mandates a lot.

In this Business, most people will only see the decor (finished product). However, I see behind the Glam, the time, materials and manpower it takes to actually PRODUCE lavish, breathtaking events.

Please know, I am truly grateful for every inquiry received. The inquiries speaks louder than the number of active projects, to me. The mere desire to work with me, whether you book or not, it’s what motivates me to keep going, so from the bottom of my heart, I say thanks.

Hearing all the horror stories about businesses not making it to (5) years or the (5) year mark is what solidifies whether or not your business will survive have always made me nervous.
So, this is BIG y’all 🙌🏾

To know, what started as a 20+ year hobby, on June 5, 2019, God turned unknown passion into a business is amazing ❤️

Soo a couple sent out wedding invitations with a RSVP deadline (very reasonable timelines).
Guests who RSVP’d after the deadline were told RSVP is closed, guests had missed the deadline & as a consequence will miss their wedding because Final numbers had been turned in.
