However, one thing that just got booked (and confirmed) is another special show - on Thursday, March 27th, at 4p & 7p, we will be showing 'Dirty Dancing' with Patrick Swayze, Jerry Orbach and Jennifer Grey!! YES!!
We hope to see you this weekend, when we can discuss 'Dirty Dancing', Looney Tunes and our Birthday Shows, before or after the amazing, indelible 'Brave The Dark'!

Critics have called it "Indiana Jones & A Jar of Marmalade" and referred to Paddington as a furry Indiana Jones, in his new movie. If you are looking for an excuse to get out of the house in these unbelievably fine Spring days, State Theatre is open tonight and tomorrow with 7p shows of 'Paddington In Peru'.
You don't want to miss this one - or come see it for the last time!!

We have a very special, special screening coming up on Thursday, March 13th - a birthday party for Kirby with (possibly) cake and definitely some film surprises in the auditorium. Get more details when you stop in to see 'Paddington In Peru', 'Brave The Dark', 'Flight Risk', or just to buy some of our amazing popcorn.

In the final days, State Theatre is having to say farewell to the delightful 'Paddington In Peru' after Tuesday's show. You really do want to bring down the whole family to see this adventure in the jungle as hidden treasure and the accident-prone Paddington meet!

'Paddington In Peru' is continuing to delight audiences and critics (check out www.rottentomatoes.com/m/paddington_in_peru) and we're pleased to be able to offer a second weekend of the blundering but beloved bear!
For those who like a very different kind of entertainment - frights and fear - we've got a horror movie on Friday night at 10p! Coming up next week, we're showing the incredibly powerful and deeply dramatic 'Brave The Dark' (again, check out https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/brave_the_dark) and following that up with the pure entertainment of R-rated thriller 'Flight Risk' starring Mark Wahlberg and directed by Mel Gibson.

A funny HORROR film? Yes. 'Happy Death Day' is a silly slasher film, intended to be horrible and hilarious! Come see if it manages either at State Theatre on Friday, Feb 21st at 10p
Our latest Late Nite Horror is a variation on the 'Groundhog Day' idea where Tree Gelbman, a college student, lives the same day over and over... until she figures out who viciously murdered her.
State Theatre will be showing this PG-13 rated movie at 10p on Friday, Feb 21st - for only $5 per ticket!!

On Friday, Feb 14th, the Valentine's Gift from Sony Pictures is the first view of the latest 'Paddington..." film!! State Theatre will be showing 'Paddington In Peru' at 7p - and all weekend long!!

We've got our furnace running, and great movies on the big screen - this is a great time to be at State Theatre!! Plus, we have popcorn!!
Our two-week run of 'Paddington In Peru' will have a couple of special screenings peppered through it - but, as we learned with 'Dog Man', it is important to get in here and see the movies as soon as you can!
Over President's Weekend, we will be having some extra screenings (7p on Sunday and a 1p matinee on Monday, as well as a 4p). Make sure you wander into the depths of the jungle with Paddington & The Browns, in search of Aunt Lucy!!
After 'Paddington...' we have some serious, more adult films to show - so this is an EXCELLENT time to give the kids their movie experience!!
