I have hesitated setting up online ordering for these primary reasons:
(1) Expectations. It’s not possible for me to replicate the exact design pictured every week. The photo is an example — not live inventory. Photos represent the general size and shape only. I wish I could post live inventory, but it is not possible without a lot more 💸💵. I’m a practical Franklin Co. lady so I can’t bring myself to add more to the cost of the goods. I want to give you the absolute best value! Instead, I invite you to call me for an accurate inventory and expectations if flower selections or colors are important to you. We are always happy to send you photos of the actual flowers available at that moment.
(2) Order Gathering Sites. There are order gathering websites that will pay for ads that are placed around my listing with photos of products that are not mine. Many operate by taking the order and contracting it out to a local florist. This adds little to no value to you as a consumer from my perspective. It makes me sad. ☹️ I don’t participate with those. To make it more perplexing the price points and photos don’t match up creating confusion, unrealistic expectations, and in some cases, a general dissapointment for floral consumers nationwide. ☹️ The best value for your money is ordering direct from your local florist and preferably talking to the person who will make your flowers. 👏☺️🥳 At Valentine’s Day I had several people call the shop to inquire about orders they thought they placed with me only to realize they were through one of these order gathering sites. Bummer for all of us!
(3) Incomplete information — ordering platforms that are accessible to a shop of my scale don’t offer the customization I would like. For example, I can’t require a phone number for the recipient and that’s really importa
