Can’t believe it’s been 40 years since I married my best friend! Time has gone so fast. We have been through so much together! We have walked many journeys that we never could have imagined! I’m so thankful to be walking through this life with you! Happy 40th Anniversary Brian! Here’s to 40 more!

Wisdom for my new couples:
1 Always say “I Love You!”
2 Never go to bed mad. Talk it through.
3 Your spouse is not your enemy. Remember that you are allies.
4 Find things to do together for fun.
5 Take a break from the kids and go on dates (even cheap or free ones).
6 As Flower would say (from Bambi)…”If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all!” (Hold your tongue).
7. Laugh! At everything! At nothing! At yourself!
8 Together, help other people. Give away your time and resources.
9 Don’t expect your spouse to be your “everything”. Find a community of friends that can fill the gaps so there isn’t so much pressure on your spouse.
10 Lastly, find ways to serve each other. Wash the dishes, clean the car, pick up that special coffee, change a diaper, make a special treat or dinner, send a loving text, give a back rub, etc…
Enjoy the days. They turn into years and before your know it….decades.
