When the couple and I finalized this design for the I was incredibly excited to bring it to life.

By using the venue’s existing frame of wooden beams and a ledge, we designed this larger than life arch shape that framed the entire space perfectly.
This way, they had plenty of extra room for their tables at reception without having a large freestanding arch on the floorplan.

This style also gave an incredible amount of room for the entire family during photos, which is one thing that I always have couples consider when choosing a ceremony design.

Will we ever be over the classic Carolina blue and white flowers? No, never.

I particularly loved the aisle arrangements with the grounded meadow design because it all compliments and almost “melts” into one another. Plus, every part of this design could be repurposed into reception in completely unique and venue specific ways.
I’ll do another post on that tomorrow 💙

When the flowers match perfectly with the place setting it really makes my heart happy.
These types of little touches of detail throughout the day truly elevate the design of the room and create one cohesive vision.

And more patterned napkins for 2025! Aren’t they fun??

There’s something about the use of dramatic drapery that I’d really love to see more of in 2025. It just created such an added level of breath and movement into the design, and I absolutely love how this amazing bride’s veil mimics the movement of the ceremony.

Hey all you flower lovers, Happy New Year! 🎉

For 2025 I want to make it a point to introduce myself more on here so you can get to know the lady behind the blooms. I’m Christine and I’m here to make your wildest floral design dreams come true.

Have we met yet? If not, here’s a few facts about me so we can get to know each other

🌸 This is my 12th year as a wedding floral director. I’ve also held every position possible at a floral shop throughout my career, starting as a stem sweeper (it’s exactly what it sounds like) working my way up as a delivery person, processor, receptionist, designer, salesperson, and probably more roles that I can’t even think of right now. I know flower shops inside and out.

🌸 I started wedding floral design at my first flower shop when the current wedding florist who was in her 70s needed assistance lifting boxes of flowers into the wedding venues. I was the youngest person at the shop and so I went along to help. I fell in love with the behind the scenes look into creating someone’s special day, and knew that that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my career.

🌸 I’ve lived in North Carolina for the past three years. Before that, I was a wedding florist in New York City, and before that, rural Pennsylvania. North Carolina is a great fit for me. I love the community here, and how warm it is in the winter!

🌸 I don’t have a favorite flower, but people always ask. It changes depending on the season, but right now I’m loving red Piano garden roses.

I’m looking forward to celebrating so many of you this upcoming year; it brings me incredible joy to be a part of your special day. Cheers to 2025!

The way I gasped when I opened these amazing photos by from this past weekend’s winter wedding at !

This ceremony spot has got to be my new favorite at the venue. Creating this stunning, large and in charge archway made such a dramatic first look into the space, and as a plus, made an incredible backdrop for ALL of the family and wedding party to have photos taken in front of where it could still be seen!

I’d love to build upon this design and do it again- different colors, textures- who wants to give it a try for their big day?

How long does it take to design a bridal bouquet?

Here’s a fun video with the answer for me. As someone who has been a wedding florist for over a decade, I pride myself on speed and efficiency. It makes all the difference here in wedding season when we have so many gorgeous pieces to design for the weekend’s event!

I came in right at 6 and a half minutes to design this classic white bridal bouquet which I thought was super interesting as I’ve never actually timed myself out. How long does it take you to design?

Doing a happy dance because we just got these beautiful photos back from from Emily and Garrett’s big day this May 💙

All of the floral touches were so intentional and graceful around the venue, and we especially loved the clustering of vases with groups of delphinium, hydrangea, and lisianthus on the head table that made that space a little more grand for the couple.

We love personalizing each couple’s wedding flowers to be something that speaks to them on the wedding day. It was an honor to be a part of it.
